Dolphin Energy
The Dolphin project has been a foundational asset
in Mubadala’s portfolio, and has been reliably
providing natural gas to both the UAE and Oman via
subsea pipeline since its startup in 2007. Mubadala
Petroleum manages Mubadala’s 51% working
interest in the project. Cumulative production to
the end of 2018 has exceeded seven trillion cubic
feet of natural gas.

Oman
Mukhaizna oil field
Mubadala Petroleum has 15% working interest
in Block 53, in which the Mukhaizna oil field lies.
Production of heavy oil commenced in 2005, with
the field development utilizing the most extensive
steam flood application in the region to date.
In 2018, gross production for the field averaged
113,000 barrels of oil per day.

Egypt
Zohr gas field
In 2018, Mubadala Petroleum acquired 10% working
interest in the Shorouk concession, which lies
offshore in the Mediterranean Sea, and includes
the world-class Zohr gas project. Zohr’s gross gas
production plateau is expected to reach 2.7 billion
cubic feet of gas per day, as ramp-up operations
continue by operator, Eni. Mubadala Petroleum also
holds 20% equity in the Nour exploration concession,
operated by Eni.

Russia
Gazpromneft-Vostok Joint Venture
Alongside our partners Gazprom Neft and the
Russian Direct Investment Fund, Mubadala Petroleum
holds a 44% interest in the Gazpromneft-Vostok Joint
Venture, which is focused on the development and
production of oil reserves in Western Siberia. In 2018,
gross oil production from several fields averaged
around 33,000 barrels per day.

Thailand
With a presence since 2004, Mubadala Petroleum
is today the second largest crude oil operator in the
Gulf of Thailand from three producing fields.

Jasmine oil field*


Mubadala Petroleum has a 100% working interest
in Block B5/27 with the successful Jasmine field.
The cumulative field production is at over 75 million
barrels; a substantial increase from the estimate
made at the time of sanctioning in 2004.

Manora oil field*


The field in Block G1/48 started production
in November 2014 and has produced over
15 million barrels. Mubadala Petroleum has
a 60% working interest as operator.

Nong Yao oil field*


Nong Yao was the second development in
Thailand, after Manora, taken safely from discovery,
development into production. Since June 2015 the
field has produced over 12 million barrels. Mubadala
Petroleum has a 90% working interest as operator of
Block G11/48.

Erawan gas field


In April 2022, Mubadala Petroleum will commence
a partner role with a 40 percent working interest in
the G1/61 Erawan gas field, where PTTEP Energy
Development Company Limited will be the operator.

Malaysia
Pegaga gas field development*
Mubadala Petroleum is the operator with a 55%
working interest in the offshore Block SK 320, which
contains the Pegaga discovery. The development was
sanctioned by the partners (Petronas Carigali and
Sarawak Shell Bhd) in March 2018 to invest over
USD 1 billion in the development. The project is now
in the construction and installation stage, with first gas
expected in 2021.

Indonesia
Ruby gas field*
The Ruby gas field in the Sebuku PSC has reliably
and safely supplied gas to the domestic market since
2013, with cumulative gas production of over
150 billion cubic feet. Mubadala Petroleum has a
70% interest in the block.
Mubadala Petroleum is also the operator of two
exploration blocks, Andaman I* and South Andaman*,
and holds a non-operated interest in Andaman II.
