STUDYING ONLINE VS. STUDYING IN TRADITIONAL
SCHOOL: WHICH IS A BETTER OPTION?

Introduction and Background Study

Over the past few years, online education has grown substantially. That's because
compared to the traditional education system, it tends to offer cheaper and more
flexible study options. Upon completion of your course, you can actually study
online and obtain a profitable degree credential. Online education is an excellent
alternative if you have a busy time. The convenience and flexible nature of online
learning enables you to study every time you have Internet connection, virtually
anywhere.
However, we cannot totally disregard that there are advantages in studying in
traditional school. Not only does attending a physical class enable students to
have one - on - one experience with the teacher, but it also exposes them to
practical skills that can benefit their future career.
Now in order for us to decide which way to go, we must do some calculations
with the help of STATISTICS.

Hypothesis
If I conduct research on which is the best option between studying online or
studying in traditional school, I think studying online is better than traditional
education because it will give you more flexibility.

Purpose of Conducting
The main purpose of this research is to find out which the best choice between
online and traditional school study.

Data Collection

Explanation on why the respondents/sample were chosen?

In this research, the respondents / sample were selected in an
unbiased manner and random selection.
Description of the steps that I had undergone in gathering data
In this research I used the Questionnaire Method which is indicated in the Final
Project that I should make a survey questionnaire.
All I did was:
1. make a survey form
2. let them answer the questionnaires
3. Collect the raw data

e = margin of error
*Since the Instructions in the Final Projects stated that at least 25 respondents is
needed it means the sample size is given which is at least 25 respondents
Sample size ≤ 25
The sampling technique that I used in this research is the Non probability
sampling, I used the sampling method called ACCIDENTAL SAMPLING for this
research, which means that there is no selection system.

I distribute the survey form from people passing by the streets, and I chose this
because it's the simpler method for me, and I think it's the right sampling method
for my research.

The methods of Presenting Data that I used for my research is the tabular and
Graphical method. In graphical I used the Bar Graph and the Pie Chart

Data Analysis and Interpretation

I asked 26 random people to take part in a quick street survey to complete a

survey of which is the best way to study. Is it online or traditional education?

Population: All the people in my Area (Cabanatuan City)

Sample: 26 individuals chosen.
I assume that the number of respondents saying Online Education is a better
choice is greater than the number of respondents saying No in the conducted
research.

NOTE: I haven’t finished this part.
