Boho

Triangle
Shawl
by Chandi Agee

Flowy. Easy. Sexy. Casual. Or elegant. However you choose to wear

this easy-to-make wrap, it’ll look sensational. Toss it around your
neck on a chilly evening. Throw it over your shoulders for a summer
night stroll. Wrap it around your hips for a quick beach cover-up.
Stash it in your purse when you head to the movies or a special
dinner, just in case the A/C freezes you out. Lots of options. And
with mainly triple crochets and chains, you can make this in a
weekend!

MATERIALS
I used 2 skeins (yarn held double) of my Serenity Resilient
Superwash Merino Wool Sock Yarn. Any 2 skeins of my
Resilient sock yarn will work.

If that colorway is out of stock, or you prefer to substitute

another fingering weight yarn, just make sure you have
approximately 800 yards.

This shawl can be modified if need be, if you see you’re

running out of yarn, so no worries if you have slightly less
than 800 yards.

Another option is to use worsted weight yarn held single. In

such case, you’ll need only 400 yards.

LET’S BEGIN!

We’re using fingering weight yarn, but holding it double. So

hold 2 strands together throughout the project, forming a
yarn thickness close to a worsted weight yarn.

Ch 8. Join with a sl st in first ch to form a loop. This is your

original starting loop.

Row 1: Ch 5 (counts as first trc plus ch 1). 1 trc in original

Repeat rows 2–4 until your shawl is as large as you like,
ending with any row.

I worked a total of 17 rows.

FINISHING:

Cut your tail and and weave it and the starting tail into the
shawl to hide them, using your darning needle.

Apply fringe if desired as shown in the photos below.

I chose to cut lengths of yarn 28” long each, hold 2

together and apply like so:
This shawl definitely looks best when blocked.

block-a-knitted-or-crocheted-shawl/

I used cardboard and pinned this into this shape after

soaking it and patting dry in a towel:

And there you have it!

A super quick, amazingly adorable wrap that has a bazillion

uses. What more can we ask for?

Enjoy your Boho Triangle Shawl!
