EVENT – KEYSTONE 2020

Event Description-
Keystone 2019, organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell of Department of Management Studies of Christ
University aims at honing the entrepreneurial skills of students. Students are given an opportunity to setup
stalls, sell and market their products at the university campus. Students get a practical experience on developing
skills like product pricing, marketing, financial management, strategizing and much more. Students who
participate have very unique and innovative ideas for the stalls to embrace their entrepreneurial talents. The
stalls will be spread across the Garden Street and expecting a massive response from all the Christities.

The Objective is to incorporate entrepreneurship skills in students.

The Target audiences are the students and faculties of Christ University. It is banned for outsiders.

Attractions at the event -

Art Stalls – Students will get a chance to display and sell their artworks in the event.

Gaming Stalls – Students who are into gaming can put up VR-AR Gaming stalls or Arcade games to give the
crowd some entertainment.

Food Stalls – Many students who love can sell their self- made food items.

Physical Requirements:

1) Stall setup
2) Tables ( 2 per stall)
3) Poster/ Banner with event name
4) Decorations for attracting audience (flyers, music, lights)
5) Plug point ( electric connection)
6) Cash counter
7) Tokens
8) Gloves and caps ( in case of food stalls)
9) Dustbins
10) Mic for emcee, speaker for music ( sound system)
11) Chair ( 2 per stall)
12) Volunteers equipped with walkie talkies
13) Event logo at appropriate locations

Event Layout
Safety Requirements –

1. The stalls cannot use any plastics and other environmentally hazardous items
2. Each food stall needs to have a dustbin maintained at their stall which should be emptied as and when
required.
3. Stalls cannot use gas stove, oil or kerosene at the premises. Any kinds of cylinders or harmful substances
are not allowed.
4. Food stalls will have to maintain hygiene and quality at all times.
5. Stalls are not allowed to use flex banners or other plastic items even for decoration purposes
6. People part of food stall should wear head cap and gloves.
7. The electricity requirements should be met in a such way that there’s no room for short circuits.
8. Safety equipment like Fire Extinguisher and Extension boxes must be there

CONTINGENCY PLANS:
1) When it rains:
All the stalls in the event have their roofs covered with tarpaulin in order to prevent rain water entering the
stalls or the stalls are moved to gourmet extension.

2) Inspection:

Regular inspection and confirmation of non-usage of plastic in order to ensure that all the rules and
regulations set by the BBMP is followed.

3) Electricity:

Carrying extra extension cords in order to provide electricity to the stalls in case the original plug points are
not working.

4) Loss on stalls:

In case one of the participants wants to back out of the event in the last movement, they will have to still pay
for the cost of the stall in order to prevent the loss on cost of the stall.

5) Emergency holiday:

If the government declares a holiday of any sort on the day of the event, the event will be postponed to the
next day.

6) Insider trading:

To avoid insider trading or adding of extra money by the participants all the transactions will happen only in
the coupons issued by us.
