Summary

On 29thof January 2019, Ajarn and Ajarn arranged a field trip for Logistics and Supply Chain
Engineering students to visit DHL Supply Chain at Bangna in Bangkok. The DHL representatives
warmly welcomed the entire group to the warehouse and gave an interesting, quick overview of
the company's history, mission, vision and achievements, which they are greatly proud of. The
representatives sincerely answered all the questions asked by the students and the team, and
expressed their readiness to also answer future questions. Students went on a guided tour of the
warehousing area and transport control tower site.

INTRODUCTION
DHL Bonga Logistic Campus is a consumer type industry with main scope of mainly warehouse
and transportation management ,operating on stocking and x doc for the products like packaging
material ,health care , cooking need, furniture, snacks, bevarages, personal finished goods etc . The
size of the facility is about 1,630,47 sq.feet.with 600 staffs working in it . The number of staff
incereases accoding to the load and reaches about 1000 staffs .The facility is diveded among 5
building, each of them having around 30000 sq.ft of area.

Major Costumer of various warehouse:

Warehouse 1 (WP 1) :Area 35,566 sqm
 Chic Republic: Home furniture and accessories, products are mainly from Loas, Italy,
China ,vietnam and Cambodia.
 Baisersdorf : Maily body care and cosmetics (NIVEA) products with a size of 10,000
pallet location.
 Reckitt Benckiser: Packaging, Health care and personal finished products with a size of
2000 pallet location.
 A cosmetic :Minly cosmetics product with a small size pallet loaction.

Warehouse 2 (WP 2):Area 30,096 sqm

 Family Mart: daily usage products, cooking products, a size of 10000 pallet location.
 JD.com: Fresh food Appereal to electronics and cosmetics
  Dell:Electronic Products Mainly computers

Warehouse 3 (WP 3):Area 40276sqm

 3M: Music ,Abrasives, Chemicals , etc . It is the bigeest Warehouse among 5.

Warehous 4 (WP4)(underconstruction)

Warehouse 5(WP 5):Area 20682sqm

 Lazzada : All most all type of products.
