Indigenous Faith Day Celebration

VKV Oyan’s Students and Teacher’s participated in the Mega event of Indigenus faith day at pasighat on
1st December 2019. The band team of VKV Oyan played band during the possession taken in pasighat on
the occassion. Other students participated by marching in the possession holding self made playcards
quoting the importance of Culture and tradition.The student’s of VKV Oyan also participated in the tablue
competition. The theme of VKV Oyan was Donyi polo Khumbo ( The prayer Hall)

PRAGYNA VIKAS QUIZ COMPETITION

Pragyna Vikas Quiz competiton was conducted in school on 4th December 2019. The pragyna vikas quiz
competition is organized by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh Trust every year in all
VKV’s of Arunachal Pradesh. The quiz competion is a written quiz competiton comprised of various areas
like Current affairs, Resoning ability, Science and Teachnology, Vivekananada Kendra, English,etc.Sri.
Jiten Das, Teacher, VKV Oyan was the overall Incharge of the competition.

INTER VKV STATE LEVEL GITA CHANTING COMPETITION

Winners of Cluster level Gita Chanting competiton of VKV Oyan participated in the Inter VKV state level
Gita chanting competition held on 7th December at VKV Tafragam. The students performed well and
bagged 1st position in Group D ( Boys) category and 2nd Position in Group C (Boys) category. The names

TEACHER’S WORKSHOP

Teacher’s workshop was conducted on 14th December 2019. The workshop was conducted for the teacher’s
of VKV Oyan only. The workshop was lead by Sri. Rajib Prasad, Principal, VKV Oyan. The topic of the
workshop was Sills of Microteaching. In the workshop ellaborate discussion was done on different skills of
Microteaching like skill of Introduction, blackbord, explaination, questioning,clousure etc.The motto of the
workshop was to develop effective teaching learning process in classroom.

SWADHAYA

Swadhaya was conducted on 14th Dec 2019. The swadhaya was lead by Sri. Jiten Das. The topic of
Swadhaya was” Unity in Diversity” from the speeches of Man. Nevidita Didi compiled in the booklet form
known as Bharatiya Sanskriti. The next swadhaya was conducted by Sri. A.K. Dey on 15th Dec 2019.The
topic of the Swadhaya was“ Women is the mother first and mother Last” All the teacher’s participated and
expressed their views on the topic.

EK BHARAT VIJAY BHARAT- SAMPARK

The Sampark karya under Ek Bharat Vijay Bharat started by VKV Oyan. At the very outset sampark
started with Dr. Kinny Singh,Deputy commissioner, East Siang and Sri. Ninong Ering, MLA,(Ruksin and
Oyan-Sille).The teachers started sampark in the oyan village, sille village and Ruksin town.They started
meeting the parents, well wishers and departments peoples during the sampark. The main objective of the
sampark is to meet the people and tell them about the way Man. Eknath Ranade did the work of
constructing Vivekananda Rock Memorial-The symbol of Unity and Work of Vivekananda Kendra.

SIANG SOCCER FESTIVAL

25 Girls of VKV Oyan participated in Siang Soccer festival at Donyi polo Tea Estate, Oyan organized by
an NGO named Donyi polo Mission and Soccer foundation India. The motto of the festival was to develop
free ness in the mind of the girls to play soccer, provide them with encouragement and remove shyness
from playing. The festival was of 3 days, from 18th Dec to 21st Dec 2019. Coaches from Delhi were
brought to train the girls to play soccer.

FIT INDIA WEEK

Fit India Week was observed in VKV Oyan from 16th Dec to 21st Dec 2019. During the observation of Fit
India week differnt activities were conducted like Mass PT and Yoga, Fitness Test, Sports News,
Volleyball and Cricket Matches, Sports Quiz and Awarness talk on Health and Hygeine.Sri. Nitul Dutta,
Physical Education Teacher was the overall Incharge of the event.

MATHEMATICS EXHIBITION

Mathematics Exhibition was organized on the occassion of Mathematics Day commemorating the Birth
Anniversay of the great Indian Mathematician Sri. Srinivas Ramanujam. The mathematics exhibition was a
house wise competition. Students from Class VI to X presented their mathematical models and games on
the concepts of mathematics. A total of 47 mathematics models were presented. The exhibition also
comprised of Wall magazine on mathematical formulae, concepts and fammous mathematicians. Students
of Govt. Middle school, Oyan came to witness the programme. Sri. A.K.Dey was the man behind the
organizing of the exhibition.

AGRICULTURE GARDEN

Agriculture gardening was started in the school. The barren land was cleared and made suitable for
growing crops. The teachers, students and the Bhaiyas( Grade IV Staff ) all together did the work. In the
land, 30 saplings of papaya, 20 saplings of Lemon, 20 plants of toppioca, pumkin, bottle gaurd and beans
were planted.
EXAM TIME

From 27th Dec 2019 onwards the periodic test for class IV to X started and written test for class I to III was
conducted. The test was conducted upto 30th Dec 2019. Sri. A.K .Dey and Sri. Jiten Das were the incharges
of the tests.
