1.0 INTRODUCTION
FPSO Kikeh is owned and operated by SBM/MISC Joint Venture Malaysia Deepwater
Floating Terminal Ltd (MDFTL) under lease to Murphy Oil. The FPSO is permanently
moored by an external bow mounted turret at location 120km Northwest of Labuan
Island, Offshore Sabah, East Malaysia. The average water depth in the field is
approximately 1300m. Distance of FPSO Kikeh from Asean Supply Base is
approximately 130km.
1) CONTRACTOR to supply all piping materials, fittings as per MTO and valves as
per valve specification supplied in this scope of work.
4) CONTRACTOR to submit all certificate for material, valve, pressure gauge and
fittings to MDPC for review prior to fabrication.
6) CONTRACTOR to submit WPS and WQT for MDPC review during bidding and
prior to fabrication.
7) CONTRACTOR to fabricate piping spools and pipe support of MGO Transfer line
as per drawings attached in the Appendix section.
Note: CONTRACTOR is responsible to ensure all new piping spool are fit to
install on site. Hence, CONTRACTOR to perform site verification/dimensional
check of the supplied drawings prior to fabrication. Any additional cost

incurred due to modification after the site verification is completed, that cost
shall be borne by CONTRACTOR.
8) CONTRACTOR to perform 10% RT and 100% MPI on all new weld joint.
10) CONTRACTOR shall inform MDPC representative prior to perform hydrotest and
invite for witness during the test.
11) All pre-fab spool shall be fully painted prior to delivery to offshore. All surface
preparation and painting/coating works shall follow standard marine practice.
Painting spec shall be as follows:
12) CONTRACTOR to demolish corroded piping section onboard in way of new piping
spools and other areas as deemed necessary by MDPC Project.
13) CONTRACTOR to erect and dismantle scaffold for spool installation. Scaffold
material shall be supplied by MDPC.
14) CONTRACTOR to install new pre-fab spool and all associated valve.
15) CONTRACTOR to erect pressurised habitat for new field weld joint during
installation.
17) CONTRACTOR to perform touch-up painting works on new weld joint performed
onboard.
18) CONTRACTOR to perform any other related works not specified in this document
but deemed necessary at site in order to complete the project.

4.0 MANPOWER
CONTRACTOR shall provide manpower comprise of the following personnel and shall
meet minimum number required to safely perform the proposed job.
CONTRACTOR manpower should be as below but not limited to:
i.Project Engineer.
ii.Construction Supervisor.
iii.Pipe Fitter.
iv. Welder – qualified to 6G SMAW process.
v. Riggers cum helper.
vi. Fire Watcher.
vii. Habitat Technician.
viii.NDT Technician.
ix. Radiography Technician.
x. Scaffolding Supervisor- Min. Level II certificate from an accredited training
provider approved by DOSH
xi. Scaffolder – Level 1 certificate from an accredited training provider approved by
DOSH.
Note:
i) All manpower shall have valid Offshore Medical & BOSIET certificate.
ii) The CONTRACTOR is responsible to supply adequate manpower in order
to complete the project & meet the requirements of the project up to
satisfaction of MDPC rep. Any additional cost incurred shall be borne by
CONTRACTOR.

7.0 DOCUMENTATION
In Summary, the CONTRACTOR shall provide the following documentation to MDPC
but not limited to:
i. Project Work Pack.
ii. Project Schedule Plan.
iii. WPS, PQR & WQT.
iv. Manpower certificates.
v. Material Mill Certificate.
vi. Rigging Gear Certificate.
vii. Daily Progress Report.
viii. Dimensional Check Report.
ix. NDT report.
x. Hydrotest report.
xi. Painting Inspection Report.
xii. Leak test report.
xiii. As-built drawing.
Upon project completion, CONTRACTOR shall submit final dossier in one (1) original
set and two (2) copies. Each set shall consist of one (1) hardcopy and one (1) DVD.

v. CONTRACTOR personnel will strictly adhere and comply with safety policy
implemented onboard FPSO Kikeh.
vi. CONTRACTOR personnel daily work on FPSO Kikeh shall be strictly controlled
and managed by the Permit to Work System (PTW).
