From Childhood

to Now :)))
By Rachel Klucens
Dance Hobbies

Ever since I was five years old, my parents forced me to play

piano and dance, tap and jazz. At first, I thought I was good
enough, but I began practicing and grew to love it. I

Piano
performed on stage for dance and in front of a large crowd
for piano. Today, I choose to play piano and dance for fun to
show my natural talent.
Volleyball

I began for my love of volleyball in sixth grade. For being the

shortest girl on the team, it was challenging. I knew I could not
be as skillful as the taller girls with their spikes, but I was one
of the best at defense. In every school I have been to, we won
tournaments and many of our games.
Drawing

I always had the talent of drawing or being creative. As a child, I

loved to sketch doodles on a sheet a paper. I would draw random
pictures for my parents and hang them up on the wall. As a
progressed, I took many art classes and camps. I learned to
perfect and distinguish my art from others. In high school, I took
several classes such as 3D art, Digital Design, Intro to Art, Draw
and Design, Advanced Art, and AP Art.
Photography

I have recently taken up photography. I am not a

professional, but hopefully in college I will take
some classes. I learned that the key of being a
good photographer is having a good eye. I try to
capture every moment from each of my vacation
trips. My specialty is portraits and zooming up
on inanimate objects.
Traveling

From when I was a baby to now, I have traveled and seen

the world with my family. It gives me new cultural
experiences, different food, and photography moments. I
traveled to 40/50 states, Canada, St. Maarten, Peru,
Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Latvia and
Lithuania. I loved learning about the historic backgrounds,
going to many Cathedrals, and looking at different art.
Family

I could not do anything without my family surrounding me. They have

motivated me in school and be a better person. They have been my side
every day. When I am down in the dumps, they would be the ones to
bring me up. They helped me with making decisions and guiding me in
the right path. I am appreciated by my parents from their cooking,
cleaning, buying me things, and the remarkable vacations. I would not be
here without my family. Thank you.
