ATLAS COPCO TRAINING ACADEMY
Having well-trained operators, line engineers and quality people in your operation, ensures optimum tool
performance, higher productivity and correct use of your tools and equipment. Our training also gives your
personnel the capability to determine whether production issues and interruptions are the result of problems
with tools or with parts used in assembly.

Group size
In order to maximise the learning effect, we organise our trainings in small groups. In this way we ensure
that participants have sufficient time for individual questions in the theoretical parts. In practical exercises,
each participant receives numerous opportunities to implement newly acquired knowledge in practice
immediately.

Certificates
At the end of the training all
participants will receive a certificate as
proof of qualification.

Training description:
Extensive Tensor family training for customer
technicians and maintenance teams on
communication programming and external
accessories. Programming and tool options,
ToolsTalk and data collection. With reference
to basic tightening technology.

QAT PRODUCT TRAINING
Training description:
Quality Assurance Tightening training
covering the complete family of QAT
products, and main quality requirements,

To provide complete theoretical and practical
knowledge about QAT systems and their

QUALITY AND IMS TRAINING
Training description:
IMS principles ISO 9001, ISO 14001,
accreditation and auditing. Explanation on
what the process is and how to identify it.

thereof. Exercises with simple risk
assessment

LEAN ACADEMY
Training description:
3-day Lean training where participants learn
about the main principles of the holistic Lean
Production Philosophy. After a prepared
sequence of theory lessons lead to practical
activities where effects can be seen and tried
out in practice. We simulate real production
environment and use real assembly
tools to demonstrate the effects of Lean
transformation.
Training goals:
To gain basic theoretical and practical
knowledge on key Lean principles.

TIGHTENING TRAINING
Training description:
Basic physics in tightening, relation of torque
and clamp force, analysis of the tightening
process in details, different strategies, and
ISO 5393 recommendations are some of
the key theoretical topics covered in this
training. During the practical part different
strategies are applied and analysed on
different joints, as well as friction analysis
and measurements.
