4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Inhalation: Inhalation of vapours due to thermal decomposition;


Move to fresh air
Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed
Skin Contact Cool skin rapidly with cold water after contact with hot polymer.
In case of adhesion do not try to remove the product.
Treat the affected surfaces as thermal burns
Eye Contact Cool eyes rapidly with cold water after contact with molten polymer.
Consult an ophthalmologist quickly.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

PERSONAL PROTECTION Evacuate non-essential staff and those not equipped

Sweep up or vacuum to prevent hazard of slipping

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION Do not release into the environment.
Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

HANDLING Provide appropriate exhaust and ventilation at machinery.


Provide electrical earthing of equipment.
Provide self-contained breathing apparatus nearby.
Provide showers, eye-baths.
Do not eat, drink or smoke where product is used.
Safe handling advice Wear dust mask and glasses if necessary.
Wear gloves (product handled when hot).
Avoid accumulation of static discharges during transfers in metallic
systems.
Whilst emptying containers, ensure vacuuming of dust.
At all stages of the operation, do not exceed the temperature at
which decomposition into toxic and corrosive products will occur.
-In case of unexpected or premature stoppage of mixing or conversion
machines; turn off the heat source.
