Greetings of Peace and Joy!

The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants is a duly recognized

organization of St. Scholastica’s College, Manila. It promotes academic
excellence especially in the field of accountancy. Moreover, the
organization is directed to uphold and strengthen ties among its members
and other organizations where each can be exposed to the challenges of
the dynamic and competitive corporate world.

As we continue the organization’s legacy, in honor to one of the most

respected professional in accountancy, Dean Ester “Irog” Ledesma; and in
partnership with KPMG Philippines R.G. Manabat and Co., the
organization will conduct its 15th Ledesma Cup on March 3 and 4, 2020
at St. Scholastica’s College Manila, Function Hall A, from 7:30 am to 4:30
pm. It is an annual academic event of St. Scho JPIA covering all the CPA
Licensure Examination subjects that serves as a mock board examination
for the undergraduate students. The competition is an inter-school
accounting quiz bowl for all Accountancy students of Local Chapters
accredited by the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of
Accountants in the National Capital Region which aims:
 To practice the students in preparation for the actual CPA Board
Examinations;
 To apply the knowledge and strengthen the skills of participants in the
CPA Board exam subjects; and
 To evaluate their strengths and weaknesses on which subject(s) or
area(s) calls for further practice and improvement.

Furthermore, the competition consists of three (3) levels:

With that, we would like to invite your School’s accounting students to

participate on the most prestigious quiz bowl in the college unit of St.
Scholastica’s College, Manila. Let us come together to be part of this
anticipated Ester F. Ledesma Cup.
