women’s studies at PG Department of Teaching and Research in Economics,
SNDT Women's University, Mumbai.

M.Phil, Women’s Studies in Economics. For 10 years, gave contact lectures for
women’s studies in Post Graduate Department of Economics.

During 1977-2010, presented over 200 papers in several national and


international seminars, workshops, training programmes and conferences on
development studies with gender perspectives in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, The
Philippines, Thailand, Kenya, Senegal, France, The U.K., The Netherlands,
Germany, Sweden, Yugoslavia, U.S.A. and The USSR. Her articles and research
