ADMISSION POLICY

ENTRANCE TEST - 42
(Academic Session: 2019 – 20)

Siddeeq Public School caters separate schooling for both the

genders right from its early classes to secondary level. The very initial
level in the school is Class 1. At this preliminary level and onward
classes, admissions are offered before the commencement of every
new academic session by observing the delineated policy.

1. The learning capacity of children for their admission to Class: 1 is

appraised by conducting an Entrance Test. The test is designed to
evaluate their knowledge about basics of languages and
fundamentals of numerals.

2. In order to focus the amelioration in learning process of every

student of the class, the school aims to limit the enrollment to 28
students per section in boys wing and 30 students per section in
girls wing.

3. Admissions from Class: 2 to Class: 8 are also offered by
evaluating the compatible performance of candidates in academics
through an Entrance Test for the respective class/level.

4. The exact accommodation capacity for each class (Class: 2 to

Class: 8) is reckoned after the compilation of the result of annual
examination scheduled to be held in the first week of February.

5. Though the precise calculation of the seats available for the new
entrants is subject to the result of annual examination, the first
twenty position holders, according to the results of Entry Test, of
each class/level are offered admission to the respective classes.
6. Admissions to Class: 9 are not offered because the school
introduces the syllabus of Class: 9 to its students of Class: 8, during
the Second Semester of academic year. As the basic concepts of
secondary level sciences are inculcated and reinforced in Class: 8, a
new entrant in Class: 9 may find it difficult to cope with the
science subjects.

7. Admissions to Class: 10 are also not offered for the reason that the
students of secondary level get registered with the respective
education board in Class 9.

8. For admission, the worthwhile performance of the students/

candidates in academics is assessed from the compatible syllabus of
their last class/level.
For instance, a student intending to get admission to Class: 5, is to
prepare himself from the syllabus of Class: 4 for the Entry Test.

9. In Entry Test the academic performance of the students/candidates

is evaluated in the following subjects:

11. It is categorically specified that any student, whose sum of obtained

marks is less than 50% of the allocated marks, will not be eligible
for admission, though the seat remains vacant.
12. Eligibility with reference to age limit of students/candidates for
getting admission is demarcated.

on producing Hifz Certificate. Such cases are attended by the
committee member on all working days (Monday to Thursday &

account of parents’ transfer or likewise some other genuine reason,
may appear in the Entry Test to rejoin the school.

17. Conversely, the student already expelled from this school in

consequence of disciplinary issues is not allowed to appear in the
Entry Test for any class.
18. The students are advised to appear for Entrance Test in the very
campus of the school which is to be joined subsequently, after
qualifying for admission. By and large, it becomes difficult to
entertain the request for migration from one campus to the other due
to fixed number of seats for each section/class.

19. In the prime interest of the students and this educational

institution, the school administration strictly observes the merit,
which is eventually ascertained from the results of Entrance Test.
Hence, any effort for getting admission by deviating from the merit is
not encouraged.

20. The list of successful candidates/selected students is displayed on

the school notice boards. Over and above, the marked answer
papers/ response sheets attempted by the students are also
handed over to their parents/guardians.

21. The second merit list, against the vacant seat(s), if available, is
prepared after the due date for fee remittance. At this stage again,
the marks/rank wise positions of the candidates in the Entrance Test
are considered for admission.

22. In this school, very specifically, students and their parents are offered
an opportunity to observe the school didactics circumspectly. Hence,
it is advised that the school dues (Admission Fee + Annual Funds)
are to be deposited after the observatory period.
