fossil fuel that isn't renewable.
Process of making it- 
HDPE Plastic is created when petroleum is heated
up, this is called “cracking” which then makes  
ethylene (Polythene) The molecules form the
gas/ethylene will connect will one another making
polyethylene the base of HDPE (How is d HDPE
made?). Then the polymers are molded and the

microplastics will stay in our soil forever. It
takes almost 600 hundred years for plastic
to “break down” to microplastic (chemistry
trash talks).
Burning HDPE- 
In places like Germany they burn their trash
which seems like a solution to landfills right?
No this is as worse if not more than landfills.
If you burn HDPE plastic and any other
plastics treacherous chemicals are released
into the atmosphere and air, depleting our
ozone layer (Biemiller). These chemicals not Cost?   created from HDPE rather than metal wood
only affect the earth's atmosphere and
climate change but also humans and our
respiratory and immune system (Biemiller).
