1. What is the Automation Anywhere Master Professional certification?

Automation Anywhere Master Professional certification is the highest level of certification that
is currently offered by Automation Anywhere. By getting master certified, you demonstrate your
knowledge and skill of using Automation Anywhere RPA product and position yourself at the top
tier of professionals. By adopting a continuous learning approach and keeping your skills
updated, you are ready to be a part of Bot Economy.

2. What does the Master Professional certification test on?

In this certification, you will demonstrate your knowledge and skills to show how Automation
Anywhere’s Enterprise 11 Digital Workforce RPA platform can be used for creating software
robots (Bots). The exam will test your knowledge of the platform, architecture and components.
You will also be tested on how to centrally manage and monitor the processes of the RPA
infrastructure. You will be submitting bots to automate end to end processes for medium
complexity use cases.

3. How is the certification administered?

The certification process includes a time-based knowledge assessment, followed by a skills-

based bots development assessment, where you will be assigned three bot use cases that need
to be developed and submitted within 2 weeks of passing your knowledge-based assessment.

4. Are there any pre-requisites?

Yes. You must achieve the Automation Anywhere RPA Advanced Professional certification
before you can take the Master certification. While there are no pre-requisite curriculum
requirements, we strongly encourage you to complete the e-learnings to prepare for the
certification.

5. What is changing?

We have recently announced three major changes

a. Promotional price reduction: The much in-demand Master certification is now priced at
only $100 USD (down from $500 USD).
b. Next day turn around for exam status: All submissions will be processed within 1
business day. Our own bots will be used to validate your submissions.
c. Simplifying pre-requisites: While we highly encourage the candidates to take our 3-day
instructor led training class on Mastering Bots or equivalent digital learning, if you are
an experienced professional in developing Bots using Automation Anywhere RPA.
product, you can take the Master certification after gaining the Automation Anywhere
Advance professional RPA certification.

6. Are there any changes to the certification test?

 The basic structure of the master certification test remains the same but individual modules
have been updated

a. Online assessment – Added more questions in the assessment with 80% passing grade
but a candidate will only get 60 randomly assigned questions. Candidates will have one
attempt to pass the Q&A assessment
b. Bot submission – We have updated and added number of use cases, but a candidate will
only get three bots assigned randomly.
c. Final review – The review process is updated and only a randomly selected candidates
will be required to pass viva (interview with an AA trainer). We have implemented
several measures to detect any effort to plagiarize or temper the test in anyway. Any
such cases will be investigated, and candidates may be denied the certification and
blocked from taking the test. Please read the certification policy carefully before taking
the test. The policy is available to review before you take the test.

7. How do I prepare to get certified?

Candidates can leverage vast catalog of courses available on AAU website to gain deep
knowledge of AA RPA product. We highly encourage you to take the 3-day instructor led class on
Mastering Bot. The class is designed to provide in-depth understanding with hands on exercises.
Also, download Community Edition to create bots completely free of cast.

8. Do I need to go through personal interview (Viva)?

Only a randomly selected list of candidates will be asked to go through the personal interview.

9. How do I apply for the certification?

You can directly purchase the test from AAU website using your credit card (we don’t accept
other forms of payment at this time). For a limited time, anyone taking the 3-day instructor-led
training (or equivalent live training offering) will be eligible to take the certification exam for
free.

10. I purchased the Master certification, but the system is not letting me launch the test. What is
the reason?

Please ensure you are already certified on Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA
Professional (Version 11.0), a pre-requisite for taking the Master Certification. If you are
certified and still not able to take the test, please contact learning@automationanywhere.com .
Include your AAU login email address, First & Last name and a detailed description of the issue
for us to investigate.

11. Do I need to purchase the AA Certified Advance RPA Professional (Version 11.0) separately?

Yes, the Advanced Professional is a separate certification and pre-requisite for Master
Certification. You can purchase it directly from Automation Anywhere University’s website.

12. Do I need to purchase Advance RPA Professional test even if I take the 3-day instructor led
class?

For a limited time, we are providing Advance Certification test free when you take 3-day
instructor led class. If you are a part of Automation Anywhere partner organization, you will
continue to have free access to Advanced certification test.

13. If I already have the Master certification, do I need to change anything?

No action is required if you are certified on the latest version (Version 11.0). For any candidate
certified on an older version, follow the certification policy for maintaining your certifications
current.

14. I recently purchased the certification at $500, can I get a refund?

No. All previous purchases don’t qualify for any refunds. This is limited time promotion and
Automation Anywhere reserves the right to change prices at its discretion.

15. How many attempts I can make for the master certification?

You are entitled to only one attempt per purchase of the master certification.

16. If I fail, how soon can I make another attempt?

We ask you to wait 30 days before making another attempt. We highly encourage you to take
additional training including instructor led class and gaining expertise with our hands on labs on
our enterprise or free community edition before attempting the master certification again.

17. Is there a limit on how many attempts I can make?

No more than total of 3 attempts are allowed in any 12 month period.

18. Who do I need to contact if I still have more questions?
