 Introduction
According to DepEd order No. 40 series of 2015, Work immersion prepares
students for the real world by training them how to work in a company and eventually
excel in a specific career. The students are exposed to and become familiar with work
related environment related to their field of specialization to enhance their competence.
The school needs to ensure that its student gain various competencies that would have
these future professionals ready for employment.
I am Jovelyn Losañez, student in Laguna Northwestern College – SLRM, year
2019 – 2020. Taking up Accountancy, Business and Management from Grade 12/St.
Agnes. Assigned in the Municipal Planning and Development Office in the Municipality
of Mabitac, Laguna.
Work immersion is one of the necessary subject requirements for graduating
students. Students are assisted by their supervisor in the work immersion venue or also
known as workplace where the students do their task. Students can also develop work
ethics, such as good work, attitudes, appreciation and respect for work.
Immersion helps student improves and builds new skills. It is also through
immersion that students get to discover themselves and jumpstart their professional
growth. The purpose of immersion is to provide students the opportunity to see a new
perspective on the world and the way other people live.

 Students are expected to follow company rules, regulations and guidelines.

 Students are expected to respect the brand service and brand values of the
company/organization.
 Completing the required training hours as indicated in the schools endorsement.
 Follow the superior/supervisor.
 Completing the task on time.
 Doing the job without hesitation.
 The student/trainee should wear the appropriate dress code.
