Locations - Islamabad.
Team Purpose
To ensure Oxfam has the management, technical and logistical capacity to scale up and to respond rapidly
to major humanitarian emergencies anywhere in the world. Provide support on procurement and Contribute
towards developing Logistics capabilities of Oxfam partner organizations in Pakistan.
Job Purpose
To provide logistics support to Oxfam’s programme in Pakistan. To ensure systems comply with Oxfam’s
policies and procedures and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Humanitarian Response:
Carry out logs assessments of disasters
Be the focal logs person to go to field in case of emergency response.
Reporting:
To ensure logistics report of field offices and country office are developed and compile and submit to RC
in time.
Generate reports related to warehouse and assets for management usage.
Staff management:
Ensure staff Job profile, yearly Objectives are set and their performance is managed on day to day
basis.
Hold drivers weekly meetings.
Take initiative for staff capacity building.
Graduate degree with good knowledge and at least 2-3 years experience of warehousing &
administration.
Effective communication skills
Negotiation skills
Good computer skills
Ability and willingness to travel and work in remote areas.
Effective liaison experience with external organisations.
Initiative to take on responsibility and work with minimal supervision.
An ability to work with deadlines.
Effective communication skills / good working knowledge in English
Sensitivity to gender and diversity issues in work practices.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as member of a team.
Organisational awareness and understanding of the significance of warehousing and adminstration
for management decisions.
