To make the little ami you will need:

Little amounts of worsted weight yarn
6 mm plastic eyes with safety backings
Embroidery floss, tapestry needle
Size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook
Fiberfill or stuffing of your choice
Tiny little pieces of felt for bird’s beak and eggplant’s cheeks
When I made them they turned out to be between almost 3 inches/7.5 cm tall (the
banana) and 1.5 inches/almost 4 cm tall (the blueberry). Depending on your tension
and the yarn you use, itmight end up being a little bit smaller or a little bit bigger 
Abbreviations I use:
ch = chain
dc = double crochet (UK: treble crochet)
hdc = half double crochet (UK: half treble crochet)
dec = decrease
R = round
sc = single crochet (UK: dc double crochet)
sk = skip
sl st = slip st (UK: single crochet)
st(s) = stitch(es)
* = repeat directions between * and * as many times as indicated

INSTRUCTIONS 
STRAWBERRY
Strawberry
R1– Ch 2, 6 sc in second chain from hook
R2- 2 sc in each st around (12 sts)
R3- Sc 12
R4- *Sc 1, 2 sc in next st*, repeat 6 times (18 sts)
R5- Sc 18
R7-12: Sc 24
Work on face – position plastic eyes, embroider mouth
R13- *Sc 2, dec 1*, repeat 6 times (18 sts)

R15- Sc 12
Stuff
R16- *Sk 1 sc, sc 1*, repeat 6 times (6 sts)
Bind off leaving long tail to close up 6-sts hole, weave in loose end.
Leaves
Chain 10, join with sl st to form a ring, *hdc 1,dc 1, tr 1, hdc 1, dc 1, sl st 1*,
repeat 5 times, bind off leaving long tail for sewing, sew to bottom of
strawberry.
BLUEBERRY
R5-11: Sc 24
R14- Sc 12
Stuff
CARROT
R5-11: Sc 24
R13-16: Sc 18
R18-20: Sc 12
Stuff

BANANA
Using white color yarn:
R4-8: Sc 18
Change to yellow yarn
R9- Sc 18
R10- Sc 18 through back loops only
R11-16: Sc 18
R18-19: Sc 12
Stuff
Banana Peals
Join yellow yarn to one of the front loops you left in R10, and then:
*R1- Sc 6, turn

R2-6: Ch1, sc 6, turn
R7- Ch1, sk 1 st, sc 3, sk 1 st, sc 1 (4 sts)
R8-9: Ch1, sc 4, turn
R10- Ch1, sk 1 st, sc 1, sk 1 st, sc 1
R11- Ch 1, sc 2
Bind off, weave in loose end*
Repeat instructions between * and * two more times.
EGGPLANT
R3-7: Sc 18
R10-14: Sc 30
Work on face – position plastic eyes, embroider mouth, cut out two little round
pieces of felt and sew to face
R17- Sc 18
Stuff
BIRD
Body
R4-10: Sc 18
Work on face – position plastic eyes, cut a diamond shape little piece of felt,
fold in the middle and sew to the front of the head as the peak 
R12-13: Sc 12
Stuff

Tail
R3-5: Sc 12
Bind off leaving long tail for sewing, sew to body.
Wings
Make 2! 
R3-5: Sc 12
R6- Sc 6
Bind off leaving long tail for sewing, sew to body.
ACORN
Acorn’s “Hat”
Using brown
R2- 2 sc in each sc around (12 sts)

Little curly thing on top of hat 

Chain 5, fold in half and sew to top of hat.
Bottom Part
Using tan
R5-9: Sc 24
Bind off, leaving long tail for sewing, stuff and sew to hat 
SNAIL
Shell
R4-6: Sc 18
Stuff
R8- *Sk 1 st, sc 1*, repeat 6 times (6 sts)
Head/Body
R3-6: Sc 12
Work on face- position eyes, embroider mouth
Stuff head end (you don’t need to stuff the rest of the head/body)
R7-15: Sc 12
R17-19: Sc 6
Bind off, weave in loose end.

TURTLE
Shell
R4-6: Sc 18
R8- Sc 24
R9- Through back loops only:
*Sc 2, dec 1*, repeat 6 times (18 sts)
Stuff
I embroidered little spots all over the shell after it was done 
Head
R3-6: Sc 12
Stuff
Bind off, leaving long tail for sewing, sew to shell.
Feet
Make 4! 
R3- Sc 10
Bind off leaving long tail for sewing. Embroider “nails” , stuff and sew to
bottom of shell.
