100 Days of School Shirt

To celebrate the first 100 days of school, you will make a shirt on Monday and Tuesday in class and wear
it to school on Wednesday, February 5th. Please bring your shirt to class on Monday with any supplies
you want to use. You can use any sharpies I have or anything from the art cart. Make it look nice!

You can choose from one of two ideas:

1) Some take on “I survived 100 days of school.” This can be funny or cute. Ideas include the
following: My teacher survived 100 days of me, I bugged my teacher for 100 days, etc.

2) We are currently in the unit “Why is education important?” To celebrate education and in
support of Malala’s work towards education, you can make a shirt about education. Your shirt
could have a quote by Malala about education or you could find a quote by someone else about
education and put it on your shirt.

What to do:

• Get a plain, t-shirt . Joann’s has them for $2.50 right now.
• Write on it, add pictures (paint, draw, iron on, glue) of things that represent your idea.
• Make it look nice
• BE CREATIVE
• Wear it to school on Wednesday!
