myMFA: Editing your verification methods

myMFA has multiple uses across the CBRE environment. We use it
with Office applications, myCBRE, Citrix, VDI, VPN, myAccount
and many other apps. There are a few ways to configure your
account to keep it secure and accessible by you at all times:
1. You should choose multiple methods of notification. By
doing this, you’ll have access to more CBRE tools, and
you’ll also have a primary and a backup in case your
authentication phone is lost.
2. Change the default method to the one that’s best for you.
Note: If you’re a frequent traveler, make sure to use
a code from the Authenticator app as your default.
d. With the Microsoft Authenticator app, you can
choose to either receive a pop-up notification on your
mobile device to Approve, or you can go into the
app to find a six-digit verification code that is entered
into the sign-in interface of our systems. Need help

1. Go to myMFA. Under what’s your preferred option?, click
on the drop-down menu.

1. Log into myMFA. You will use your CBRE email address,

a. The Authentication Phone option is your

receive calls or texts to verify your identity.
b. The Office Phone option allows you to input your
CBRE desk phone number. This is typically already in
the system. If it is not, or if it is set up incorrectly, log
into myCBRE and make sure your BUSINESS 1 phone
entry is correct with the country code. Learn how.
c. The Alternate Authentication Phone option allows
you to input another number where you can typically
receive phone calls, such as your home landline
phone.
