Acacia offers the Cambridge International
Primary Curriculum plus the Zambian
National Curriculum for an integrated and
holistic learning experience. We ensure your
child is thoroughly prepared for the Grade 7
National Exams or the Cambridge
Checkpoint. Our internationally acclaimed
world-class approach to teaching and
learning prepares your child for secondary
schooling and for life, helping them develop
an informed curiosity and a lasting passion
for learning.

We cater for children from Playgroup to Grade 7 in a friendly and welcoming multicultural community.
We offer the Cambridge International Primary Curriculum and the Zambian National curriculum. We are
a registered school of Cambridge Assessment International Education and a member of the
Independent Schools Association of Zambia. Acacia has been in operation for 16 years and our
mission is to ‘PROVIDE EDUCATION FOR OUR FURTHER LEADERS.’

We have consistently maintained excellent results at the Grade 7 National Exams, with
100% of entrants achieving a Division 1 pass. Our school leavers are enthusiastic, caring
and responsible learners who progress to secondary schools of their choice and top schools
and universities within Africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas.

The school is situated in a green and

spacious campus on the outskirts of
Livingstone. Our large, purpose built
classrooms are equipped with digital
projectors, to which our staff can connect
their laptops, which are themselves
connected to the internet via wifi. This
generates higher pupil interest for top
quality teaching and learning. Our
grounds include sports pitches and a 25m
swimming pool, with plenty of space for
sporting activities and for children to play
in a safe and secure environment.

EARLY YEARS

Our dedicated preschool has caring, qualified teachers and stimulating indoor and
outdoor facilities. We follow the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
programme, which promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s ‘school
readiness’ and gives them a broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the
right foundation for excellent future progress.
We have three classes: Our Rich Extracurricular include:
