Frey Fil Corporation is Precast distributor and producer around the Philippines. the
corporation is well know from being a Post - Tensioning Contractor into most of the General
Construction. According to the Engineer the roam us around most of their projects are
construction of roads, bridges, ports, industrial plants and buildings in both government and
private sector. Its concrete product line of Precast, Prestressed Concrete, and more are widely
regarded for its quality and durability.

In Fabricating the precast we must be also knowledgeable on what would be the possible
structure that can be precasted, and this are beams, walls and girders. The first step in Fabrication
is you must have your own formworks were will you supposed to mold the specific structure that
your client wants. We can say that if you go into this Plant most special equipments here are
provided. Electrical works and plumbing works will be also done then the casting of concrete is

need and curing process will take 2-3 days and it will be transported to the construction site and
to be lifted up.

Safety procedures are being practice by the Frey-Fil Corporation as we students were
advised to wear Safety Vest, Proper shoes, and Hard Hat. All employees and works are also in
complete safety gears as they are working inside the plant.
The key elements that I mostly learned in this Fieldtrip is that I must be aware of the
resources that our country can give and also always acknowledge the people who gave us time to
learn things such as this. The last thing I learned is that it is very hard for us Filipinos to earn
money, we need to sacrifice a lot of things. Money and knowledge can’t be obtained in trash.

The fieldtrip is a lot of fun and very informative. The food is very good indeed and the
place is big. The faculty who accompanied us is also good they also shared us some information
on the place and some tips, I can also say that this give us a huge confidence boost in facing the
real world. The fieldtrip is a great experience for us and thank you very much for a job well
done.
