A Reflection of Mine to Our End Term Activity/Project

It's better to give than to receive. I always heard that mottosince Im an elementary student, but
now I already seeing its essence and I realize what happiness a giver could experience.

In our midterm project, we grouped ourselves into four and constructed a pattern for a
tesselation. At first we have the hard time of looking for patterns but since I have artistic
groupmates they first did the pattern the I helped on designing it and we really help each other
to makes things easy to handle. We are the first grouo to finish and I feel proud also for we
made our original design, with the awareness that it will be applied in the future. Also from the
activity we discover more about ourselves and groupmates and our hidden talents went out
especially in art and designs.

As the endterm is approaching a lot of practical exam took place and so difficult to manage our
time so we have just to search for unfortunate individuals whom we will give our personalized t-
shirts to. We just did that late in the afternoon because of busy schedules. Four shirts were
given to those whom we identify as the last, lost and the least. And I realize that the giver would
always be the happier one for in giving without looking forward for a return is a value that
would improve our understanding as a person to not live with materialistic sense of life and
reside on something which is eternal and holistic which involves giving with love. Those persons
who we do not know also suffered a lot of challenges in their lives which resulted to their stages
right now but what matters most is they never give up and still continue to live despite of
incompleteness in different aspects of life. I can conclude that love is very essential in the world
for this is tge foundation of every human life and would always be a cause of someones success
or loss which can be inculcated and be felt first in our family.

By giving them those shirts, I discover that price doesnt matter for the smile on their faces we
brought to them is enough. Some street children and other unfortunate ones would also ask for
it but since we only had four, we refused them since as student as we are we are not yet stable
financially. Saying to myself how I hoped to give them all, however even in that short span of
time of talking with them we can also realize that we must also find someone who is really in
need when we give our help for in today's world some also taking advantage of their life cases.

All in all this activity was very life fascinating and as we are learning in the four corners of our
room, this also widen our knowledge to the realities of life.
