Statement of Lone Star Project Director Matt Angle on

the Election of Lorraine Birabil as State Representative
in Texas House District 100 (Dallas)

"The election today of Lorraine Birabil in District 100 is a strong signal to every
Texan that House District 100 remains in very good hands and that a dedicated
and effective new leader is emerging in our State.

"Lorraine Birabil will be an outstanding member of the Texas State House. Her
background in public service along with her focus on public education,
healthcare and justice for all means that District 100 families will have a strong
and passionate advocate working hard every day on their behalf.

"We are proud of Lorraine’s positive, constructive campaign. She listened to

voters and stayed focused on the issues that matter most to them. Lorraine has
