BOARD SECRETARY III : (Office of the Director-General); Place of Assignment: Manila;


SG-20; Salary/Month P51,155.00; Item No.: NMB-BS3-4-2016; EDUCATION: Bachelor’s
degree; EXPERIENCE: 2 years of relevant experience; TRAINING: 8 hours of relevant
training; ELIGIBILITY: Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervises the activities of the group of employees engaged in the preparation of


agenda and minutes of Board Meetings;
2. Drafts resolutions of the Board and Minutes of the Meetings;
3. Checks matters submitted to the Board for signature of the Chairman and Members of
the Board for correctness of data and recommendations as indicated in the original
papers;
4. Reviews minutes for accuracy and completeness before certification to the
department/origin; determine the best manner of presentation of action taken by the
Board on particular matters;
5. Review minutes of Board Meetings before submission for approval;
6. Drafts correspondence, memorandum, contracts and other official papers;
7. Prepares certificates of attendance of the Board Members: and
8. Does related works.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER I : (Office of the Director-General); Place of


Assignment: Manila; SG-19; Salary/Month P45,269.00; Item No.: NMB-ITO1-9- 2016;
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job; EXPERIENCE: 2 years of relevant
experience; TRAINING: 8 hours of relevant training; ELIGIBILITY: Career Service
Professional/Second Level Eligibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Formulates database structures and design for the agency;


2. Maintains and manages the Agency’s Website and the corporate database;
3. Takes charge of the detailed requirement analysis or software plan which produces a
user-oriented description of the capabilities and features;
4. Takes charge of the determination and preparation of the computer hardware plan
necessary for software development;
5. Coordinates closely with the programmers to ensure that the systems design is
properly programmed or coded according to specifications;
6. Assists and closely coordinates with the concerned personnel in the implementation
and installation of the newly developed system to ensure its smooth operation in the
actual situation or environment;
7. Provides tools, training, consulting and support to end-user developers, including
availment of the necessary software and hardware;
8. Prepares and submits periodic reports as may be required; and
9. Does related functions.

ATTORNEY II : (Office of the Director-General); Place of Assignment: Manila; SG-18;


Salary/Month P40,637.00.00; Item No.: NMB-ATY2-5-2016; EDUCATION: Bachelor of
Laws; EXPERIENCE: None required; TRAINING: None required; ELIGIBILITY: RA 1080
(BAR).

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares legal studies on queries propounded by various offices;


2. Conducts investigation of and evaluates administrative cases upon instruction from
superior;
3. Attends hearings and recommends decisions on administrative cases;
4. Undertakes the interpretations of laws, orders, rules and regulations including legal
documents;
5. Reviews contracts, legal forms and other related documents and recommends its
approval; and
6. Performs other related functions.

PLANNING OFFICER III : (Office of the Director-General); Place of Assignment: Manila;


SG-18; Salary/Month P40,637.00; Item No.: NMB-PLO3-43-2007; EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job; EXPERIENCE: 2 years of relevant experience;

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares short and long range plans and programs, technological / technical and
administrative projects of the agency;
2. Formulates criteria for determining priorities for proposed projects and reviews for the
selection of capital projects for funding and execution;
3. Studies and reviews existing programs and projects of the Agency;
4. Gathers and analyzes essential information and data from other agencies, institutions
and other external resources as input policy formulation, discussion and report
generation;
5. Directs the preparation and submission of reports related to the different projects,
activities and programs of the Agency for monitoring and reporting purposes;
6. Participates in meetings, conferences, fora, seminars and workshops related with area
of work; and
7. Does related duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job; EXPERIENCE: 1 year of relevant
experience; TRAINING: 4 hours of relevant training; ELIGIBILITY: Career Service
Professional/Second Level Eligibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manages the computer network (LAN) of the Agency;


2. Coordinates and supervises the work of Computer Maintenance Technologist I;
3. Develops data base programs based on the needs of the agency;
4. Ensures the continuous upgrading of the Agency’s systems;
5. Provides computer literacy training for the various divisions of the agency per request
from these units; and
6. Does other related duties.

LEGAL ASSISTANT III : (Office of the Director-General); Place of Assignment: Manila;


SG-14; Salary/Month P27,755.00; Item No.: NMB-LEA3-6&7-2016; EDUCATION: BS
Legal Management, AB Paralegal Studies, Law, Political Science or other allied courses;
EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience in legal work such as preparation of pleadings, legal
opinions and memoranda or legal research; TRAINING: 8 hours of training relevant to
legal work, such as legal ethics, legal research and writing, or legal procedure;
ELIGIBILITY: Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs research works on various legislative bills and proposals that may affect
National Museum’s programs and projects;
2. Assists in the drafting of agreements, contracts, legal forms and other related
documents and recommend its approval;
3. Assists in the investigation of administrative cases upon instruction from superior;
4. Makes and monitors transcriptions of all recorded hearings conducted by the Legal
Division;
5. Organizes and monitors the records or files of all administrative cases being handled
by the Legal Division; and
6. Performs other related functions.
