Discuss the importance of the topic
and background of the study. Theoretical
discussion of the topic's concepts and
derivations of equations. (Arial, 11, Justified)
2. Material & Methods
Materials and reagents used. Specific
setup description with figures and step-by-
step procedure. Procedure should be in
paragraph form. Include explanations and
rationales behind the method. The reader
should be able to duplicate the experiment
after reading the methodology. Include model
numbers or descriptions of the equipment if
possible.
3. Results & Discussion
Show the results of the experiment
(raw and processed) in the form of graphs if
there are a lot of data points so the reader
can immediately see the trends. Tables and
sample calculations should be placed in the
appendix instead. Explain the data gathered
from the experiment: trends, errors or
deviations from theoretical data, sources of
these errors, etc. Include statistical analysis.
Final conclusions derived from the
data and discussion. Recommendations to
improve the experiment. Focus on
improvements on the procedure rather than
the state of the equipment.

Cite all references used in the study.
Use proper referencing throughout the paper.
At least 5 published references (journal or
books). Avoid using references pulled from
the internet. Use Parenthetical/ Harvard

6. Appendix
Place tabulated raw data here. Some
graphs or extra figures not included in the
report for reference. Also include sample
calculations and derivations if they are too
tedious to include in the report. The appendix
section can be reverted back to a single
column format to fit the tables. Reported data
should include uncertainties.

4. Conclusions & Recommendations *A4 paper, 1 inch margins, 0.3 inch space in
between columns.
