Bridge Card Quick Reference
Selected Target - target Data to display selected target tracking data and AIS Info tab to display alphanumeric data for AIS targets.
Multiple Targets - target ID, CPA & TCPA data up to 8 active AIS & tracked targets. Data can be displayed by CPA, Range or User.
Target Display –priorities, identification, cancel, past position dots, target auto drop & vector timeout, number, targets processed/
tracked.
AIS Display - enable/disable AIS input, filters (Class A/B & other AIS objects). Activation of AIS on CPA/TCPA/BCR.
Acquisition Zones - annular/polygonal zones. Targets entering zone acquired & tracked. AIS targets activated in Transmit and
Standby.
Own Ship AIS - displays read only AIS data for own ship and AIS Massaging.
Limits and Settings - defines the CPA/TCPA, BCR/BCT and target association limits.
Test Tracked Targets - includes the display of fixed test targets and user defined, movable test targets.
Monitor Route - current monitored route, with critical points. Lists dangerous objects & areas which intersect route plan safety
region.
ETA Calculator - calculate time, speed and distance between waypoints on a monitored route.
Route ETA – select waypoints and set leg speeds changed on monitored route, ETA calculated based on the entered speed values.
Required Speed - enter arrival time for waypoint on a route. Required leg speeds calculated in order to achieve this arrival time.
Speed Planning - manual speed plan. Specify arrival time to waypoint to show speed adjustments required to achieve.
Edit Route - save, open, validate, delete route plans. Route data edited from Waypoints tab. Add Critical Points (CPs) to route. Lists
objects and areas of potential danger along edited route, set ETD/ETA & XTD Limits.
Temp Route - originates from CCRP and can join and transition to a previously created non-temporary route plan.
Search and Rescue - (SAR) patterns are specialized routes used to patrol a given area. SAR patterns may be edited.
Route Status - summary data of the active leg of a monitored route.
Route Import / Export – import / export internal / external routes via external USB device.
Route Display Settings - enables selection of display information as it appears on screen.
Parallel Index Lines – up to 15 sets of index lines over whole display simultaneously, can be saved, copied or edited.
Clearing Lines - bearing lines or range lines to approximate a position where a danger to own ship lies.
Line of Position – use bearings and/or radar measurements to suitable objects to determine geographic location.
Ownship History - primary or secondary track lines indicate past locations. Primary - position sensor (e.g. GPS), secondary other
position sources (e.g. DR or LOP).
Parallel Cursor - crossed lines centred on ownship and parallel lines at range ring intervals from one cross axis. Can be rotated,
centred, shown at half mode or full mode.
Trial Manoeuvre - enables the effect of a proposed manoeuvre, based on rate of turn for own ship, to be displayed.
Distance Line - enables a Rhumb line to be drawn with a start/end point at specified locations.
Display Settings - includes Ownship, Next Turn EBL and Grid display functions.
Anchoring - anchorage planning, monitor anchoring status, control anchoring parameters and monitor anchor drag.
Man Overboard - management of a MOB emergency, when active the MOB symbol is highlighted.
Chart Tools – match charts & video, update, install, copy, licenses & permits, export permits & IDs, display charts for selected
chart D/B.
Chart Settings - includes selection of display modes (Standard and Other) and additional features.
Chart Projection - change between display projection types. Mercator (default) and Stereographic, for high latitude areas
(poles).
Chart Depths/Heights - chart contour and ownship depth/height settings.
Chart Databases - lists available databases and specifies order for charts rendering.
Chart Legend - detailed read-only information on every visible chart to be viewed.
Manual Update - add chart objects or create separate layer for chart objects applied. Import or export charts.
Pick Report - opens window for viewing information on selected chart areas and objects based on the current selected filters.
Chart Dangers - list of potential dangers on heading. Enables setting of 'Look-ahead' added breadth & local display of
information Highlight individual dangers with detailed description.
Chart 1 - access to SevenCs & C-Map Chart 1 catalogue and SENC colour diagram.

The Main Menu functions are hidden at start up, to access move the cursor over the Show
Menu button at the bottom right of the screen.
To view each item's sub menu functions left click on a main menu button, any functions
associated with the selected item are displayed above the Main Menu list.
Alerts - current active alerts (alarms, warnings & cautions). Current alert state, status and
description. Unacknowledged flash, acknowledged but still existing alerts steady.
Prompts - permanent and temporary prompts, as they occur. Current chart display mode
displayed as hyperlink.
Mute Settings – adjust temporary mute time length. Set to off for unlimited period (a
warning will be displayed).
Sensors Menu - allows selection of sensor source to be used for each type of data (e.g.
heading, position). Also, adjustments to the heading alignment can be made at Heading
sensor and offset position applied to a Position sensor.
To view or edit sensor data source left click on appropriate sensor type. For each sensor,
the active data source selected at any node for any sensor type is active system wide. If
there is no active data for any selected sensor then an alarm is raised.
Date & Time based on system date/time source (e.g. GPS). Certain sensors allow manual
data entry, if no sensor source is available. A sensor device MUST be selected as soon as
valid data becomes available.
If Autopilot is configured, system provides an Autopilot menu button for quick access to
Autopilot functions - Autopilot Status, Control Modes and VM Heading Control. Track
Control and Joystick Control are available optionally.
Transceiver - switch between standby & transmit, select pulse length, switch tuning
between AFC & manual, manual fine tune.
Radar Overlay – adjust Gain and anti-clutter (Rain & Sea) settings. Auto Anti-Clutter,
Enhance, True or Relative vectors and Trails length.
Interswitch – transceiver selection / information, including identifier and Master/Slave
status, may have 2-way or 6-way Interswitch. If no interswitch fitted, transceiver defaults to
Master and its ID is fixed at A.
User Profiles - create, delete, apply, save, view and update profiles that contain node
specific chart, route or other display settings.
Standard Settings - Opens Standard Settings window which lists current system settings.
Click on Apply at the top of screen to apply Standard Default Settings.
Options - selection of common displayed units as read-only information.
Diagnostics - functions available to non-logged on user: Performance Monitor, Report,
Datalog, Sensor Status, Connection Status and Buzzer. Database appears on Multi-node
and CSR systems.
Commissioning - system processes via Username & password. Other Commissioning
functions contain read-only data.
Time Management – set local date & time and time zone offset from GMT. Displays
sensor used as time source (e.g. GPS).
Shutdown- shut down or restart system. Service mode available only if the operator
logged on as service engineer.
Day/Night - colour display setting for daylight, dusk and night.
Groups - adjust brilliance settings on predefined data groups.
Chart Symbols - diagram to ensure brightness adjustments will
enable SENC data to be adequately displayed.
Brightness Check - aid to setting the monitor's brightness control.
