Respected Sir,

I am writing this letter to express my interest to attend one day work on combustion research in
aerospace application at IISc Bangalore

I have done my M.Tech from Delhi Technological University, Delhi, India; in Thermal Engineering with
specialization in Alternative Fuels, in 2013. During the course of my studies, I have been deeply focused
in the acquisition of deep and comprehensive knowledge in the field of Sustainable Development of
Future Urban Environment and Future of Mobility.

I have been always concerned about the depletion of petroleum reserves and the environmental
degradation they are causing. Therefore, I chose my area of research as alternative fuels, waste
recycling and sustainable development. As a part of my dissertation, I worked on conversion of waste
to usable commodity and my intention is to connect the issues of pollution with positive socio-
economic impact. My topic for my was “Combustion, Performance and Emission Analysis of a Light
Duty Diesel Engine on Blends of Mahua oil Biodiesel and Diesel”.

I have published many research papers in various international conferences and journals worldwide.
Besides this, I attended the SAE World Conference held at Detroit USA and SAE International
conference on Engine & Vehicles, Capri, Napoli, Italy in 2013.

Presently I am pursuing my PhD in the area of Biomass gasification in mechanical department, IIT Delhi.
The research work involves to numerically analyze the gasification processes of biomass and its
validation. During my course work I got the knowledge of combustion and I believe that this workshop
will help me in enhancing the knowledge in the field of combustion. Beside this, there is an opportunity
to meet people working in this field, I am confident that this work shop will be beneficial to meet my
research objective.
