SCHOOL - BASED CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

SY 2017-2018

OBJECTIVE

The CORDOVA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL uphold a zero - tolerance policy for
any act of child abuse, mistreatment, violence, harassment, bullying and other forms of
exploitation or abuse.

POLICY

1. Beating, whipping and other forms of physical punishments will not be practiced
as a discipline, training or the like, to any child.
2. The Child protection policy and other children’s rights and privileges will be
communicated to parents and in school.
3. In-campus child protection committee will be organized to monitor and mediate to
whatever conflicts that may arise inside the school premises.
4. Matters and records involving any child/student with issues concerning the child
protection policy shall be kept confidential.
5. Safety and precautionary measures shall be practiced to mitigate possible harm
and accidents to children.
6. The school shall provide symposium about awareness on child protection policy
and anti-bullying policy.
7. Protection will be given to all students from all forms of abuse and bullying to
develop self-esteem and self-confidence.
