1.4 Retake Fee

Fee for students requiring to re-take units (undergraduate and postgraduate) for which they had
previously registered at scale fees:
£250 per 15 credit unit (units of other credit values are pro-rateable)

3.2 Research Degrees - Pre-approved extension period (PEP) fees *****

PEP fees are payable either:

a) In full, at the rate fixed at initial registration, before the start of the PEP year; or

b) As payments equating to one-third of the annual fee, payable after three months, six months and
nine months, up to the point of submission

3.3 Bench Fees

For research proposals requiring extensive use of specialised University facilities, the University may
quote a bench fee in additon to degree programme fees in a range up to £6,000 per year This will be
determined before registration.
