Job: Transmission Engineer . .

• SDH links and SDH rings implementation(STM 1 to STM 64)
• SDH (Installation and Commissioning) and Acceptance testing of ALCATEL MUX of
1662/1660,1642
• Provide round the clock technical support for O&M Engineers.
All SDH (Alcatel) Equipment knowledge of 1642EM, 1642EMC, 1662SMC, 1660SM
• Troubleshooting initial level and installation related problems, quality assurance and
Conducting Acceptance Testing.
• Taking Acceptance Testing from SDH customer. And Quality control and remove all
punch points, make site ready for traffic shifting from PDH to SDH
• E-1 Provisioning and Commissioning of circuits (2Mbps, 155Mbps).
• Add and drop the various numbers of E1’s (2.048 Mbps signal) to access equipment of
different sites of the network.
• Experience on Protocol tester K1205
• Up gradation of transmission media from PDH to SDH
• Traffic Shifting from PDH Link to SDH Link.
• Defining working and protection path for circuits through the entire ring.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, PDH, SDH transmission standards
• Doing all acceptance test (SDH testing of multiplexers STM-1 up to STM-16 (E1,
Ethernet, gigabit Ethernet, syncronization, work to protect and protect to work, capacity
testing, optical TX power,Rx sensitivity, and all other testing.)And send AT report to
upper level.
• E1 dropping and forwarding E1 from BSC to all linking BTS, define protection as for
customer requirement.
• Fault rectification during I&C, integrate of nodes, and traffic through from one end to
another

RF Engineer
• Responsible for performing the drive test by DT Engineer for the network at regular
intervals to check the Quality of Service (QOS) & changing system parameters like
Frequency assignments, neighbor lists & antenna orientations to achieve better coverage,
call quality & network capacity
• Monitoring traffic of cells, plan and implementing capacity extension in time
 • Maintain the Network as per Customer requirement from RF Side & Provide.
• Proposal & Survey of Site in Order to maintain GOS & Coverage.
• Proposing New Site to Overcome Coverage Patches & filling Capacity areas.
• Auditing of New Sites and Verifying Hardware, Tilt, Antenna height & Orientation
according to the Planning Database.

• RF survey for new site, Hot spot survey or Blind survey according to clutter type
• Decide orientation of antenna and propose GSM antenna height..
• Perform MW survey to clear Line of site (LOS)
• To calculate Azimuth, Obstacle height & Fresnel zone.
• Decide MW Antenna height for E-1 link establishment with the help of MW survey report.
