TiE Membership Form

TiE is a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of Entrepreneurship. It is an open, inclusive and
transparent organization in all its beliefs and actions. TiE has recently established chapters in India.

TiE Ahmedabad membership is open to professionals with an interest in entrepreneurship, either in a startup context or within a
larger company.

Student Membership: For a student: Rs. 1000 per year *.

Associate Membership: Any individual of an organization. The Associate Membership subscription is Rs. 5,000/- per year.

Co-founders Membership: Any 2 co-founders of an organization. The co-founders membership subscription is Rs. 7500/- per
year.

Charter Membership: By invitation, subject to a due process prescribed under the bylaws. The Charter membership
subscription is Rs. 18,000/- per year.

The primary benefit of membership is networking with other entrepreneurs and professionals. Members can establish
relationships that can provide them mentoring, connections to mainstream professionals, advice, (especially with respect to
business planning and financing strategies) and in some cases, access to funds. However, TiE, as a non-profit organization,
does not engage in venture capital investments.

Brief Personal Profile

Mr. Sanjay K. Randhar is the Managing Director of GVFL Ltd. Under his leadership, GVFL has been instrumental
in making some highly successful exits as also make some marquee investments in technology driven companies
across sectors. GVFL has also been recognized as “Best Technology Venture Fund – India – 2018” by CFI.co,
UK. He adds a lot of value to the investee companies by providing strategic direction and access to his extensive
network.

He has over thirty years of experience in financial services space and has held senior positions and leadership
roles in both private sector and public sector organizations like State Bank of India, ARCIL, Reliance Capital
(Private equity), SS Ventures (a joint venture VC firm of Softbank Investment, Japan & SBICAPS) and Piramal
group’s private equity company, India Venture Advisors.
He is very actively involved in development of startup ecosystem and policy initiatives of Govt. of Gujarat. He is
Co-chair of CII Task force on Startups for Western Region and member of the Investment Committee of CIIE-IIMA
Seed Fund, NEDFi Venture Fund and Research & Innovation Park Advisory Council of IIT-Gandhinagar. He is a
regular speaker & panelist at various forums in the ecosystem.

Mr. Randhar is a Mechanical engineer from IIT-Roorkee, Diploma in Financial Management and also CAIIB from
Indian Institute of Bankers.
