developed picture. Cut the picture into
squares. Re-arrange and paste the squares
in your sketchbook to create a design. Use
another medium to add to the drawing.

One-Point Perspective: Draw/design
something using one point perspective. Can
be a contour drawing, tonal drawing,
colored pencils, or watercolor)
Meet the Artist—create a “meet the artist”
page. Complete with a characterized
version of yourself, your likes and dislikes,
and include interesting facts.
Junk Yard Art Wars! Create an
artwork using recycled materials. (can
be 2D or 3D) The best ones will be
featured in an all recycled art show at
KSU!

Mixed Media Collage: Choose a
newspaper story important to you. Cut it
out, use it as a background to past collage
images on top. Draw/paint additional
images. Include words. Change the scale of
things. Integrate large and small shapes.
Self Identity: Identify an object that relates
to your identity. Create an artwork that
uses the image of that object (or the actual
object) as the single focus of the artwork.
