2019 Packages, Queens and Nuclei
Jolanta’s mated laying queens, Scottish bred £33.00
We are sourcing package bees and queens from our excellent
Piedmont producers again this year. Shipments start in early April
and continue to the third week of May. Due to the presence of
small hive beetle (SHB) in southern Italy, supplies are restricted.
Please order early to avoid disappointment. All our supplies are
from a producer audited by ourselves and inspected for and
clear of SHB. All shipments carry full health certification and are
communicated to the National Bee Unit (NBU).
Shipments will be booked up on a first come, first served
basis, except for a proportion reserved for our regular clientelle.
Package bee customers must be in agreement to meet our truck
at the nearest motorway service station on our route up the
United Kingdom (UK). For packages, there is a minimum order of
ten units. Special delivery arrangements can be made for large
orders (>200).
Packages for 2019 are selling out very fast. Supply has been
increased by 60 per cent, yet 80 per cent of the total are already
booked. Call NOW to avoid disappointment.
Queen orders can be of any size but postage will be £4.00
extra on orders of less than ten queens.

All Scottish-bred units are headed by ‘Jolanta’s queens’, locally
bred from our own high-performing stock. Overwintered nuclei
available from mid April. New season’s nuclei available from June.

produced stock on request (at cost).
From spring 2020, full colonies on BS frames in hives
consisting floor, brood box, cover board and metal-covered roof,
all new equipment in previous season, in Smith or transferred to
National, circa £210 each. Additional new deep boxes available at
very sharp rates, ie, fully assembled with prewaxed frames and
ready to use, £33.00.
For all items, 50 per cent deposit required with order. Balance
must be paid in full not less than seven days before delivery date.

All buyers must agree to co-operate fully with all requirements
of the NBU or equivalent.
