After watching all the videos, one thing is certainly common among them and that is
entrepreneurship isn't just about planning some business but it is also about how innovative and
creative entrepreneurs can be. It shows the true essence of becoming an entrepreneur by
sharing their unique stories on how they succeed in life which can also motivates other people.
What I learned about the videos was that not all entrepreneurs had the chance to
succeed in life. In fact, it is not like those who are successful are also destined for greatness but
those who think themselves as failures will always fail in any challenges thrown at them. It is just
that they don’t have the quality that most great entrepreneurs hold which is the quality of not
giving up. Until such time that I realize I’m also that kind of person who easily let go things that I
think I can't do or handle any circumstances. So watching the video gave me a second thought
that maybe I could be like them, not by becoming an entrepreneur but becoming a successful in
my chosen field. All I need to do is to delete doubts in life, take courage for everything that I do
and become a risk-taker also. Sahar Hashemi got rejected by bank managers 40 times and
Jack Ma also failed a lot of times but right now he is the founder of Alibaba and is 18th richest
people in the whole world. Their stories motivates me as a person and I believe that one day I
observe that here in our barangay, a lot of stores can be found. Some are sari-sari store, there
are markets also and some are eateries. I can see those entrepreneurs really striving hard to
earn money for their families and I can say that they also wants to become successful in life.
But, what I’m trying to point out here is that there is a certain store here that proudly sells our
barangay’s unique product. And because of that store, I came up with a conclusion that
entrepreneurship can also help communities to promote their own kind of products and sell it to
anyone which is, of course, a form of business. It isn’t just a simple cycle of product and money
but it also improves the quality of arts, crafts and also culture of every community.
Entrepreneurship can also contribute to national developments. One example for me, is
China. China is known for being a business-minded country. Possibly, Jack Ma also caught that
kind of trait and now that he is known worldwide for becoming successful, he can inspire his
fellow chinese to strive also for success. Philippines, on the other hand, can also just become
China if we form our sense of nationhood and not being driven by self-interest because sadly,
most of the successful business and entrepreneurs here our controlling the country.
To maintain integrity and excellence in entrepreneurship, just follow what the people from the
video had said. Just like what Ms. Sahar Hashemi said, being optimistic and enthusiastic are
traits of an entrepreneur. Removing doubts can also help you to become brave at facing
whatever situations life gave at you. In order to achieve excellence in entrepreneurship, you
don’t need to be skills and expertise at first because being entrepreneur is a process. Just
continue to be focused in life, keep your dreams alive and get inspired then everything else will
follow.
