Introduction

Kenwood Cold Storage is a part of Kenwood Group Companies owned by Mr. George Si,that
handle all the poultry products from its sister company San Vicente Dressing Plant. San Vicente
Dressing Plant is a partner of San Miguel Purefoods, where the chicken is being dressed as a
product of Magnolia Chicken. The dressed chicken are stored in three cold storage, and will be
delivered to any point in Luzon by Kenwood Hauler Corporation. Kenwood Cold Storage is in
charge in maintenance of the delivery trucks used by the Kenwood Hauler Corporation, also in
monitoring, operations and maintenance of the cold storages. Kenwood Cold Storage also has an
Ice Maker for the dressed chicken. The Ice maker is producing 60 tons of tube ice per day when
there is operations.

The compressor used in the cold storage is a 4 cylinder m-series of Mayekawa while 6 cylinder m-
series for the icemaker. Mayekawa has been deeply committed to the refrigeration industry for
more than 80 years. During this time we have developed high quality, easy to handle and cost-
effective thermal technology. Mayekawa offers a comprehensive range of compressors with
hundreds of models developed in response to the variety of applications required in refrigeration.

New gas compressors have been developed for the specific needs of gas compression systems
based on our experience in applications including helium, hydrogen, water vapor, chlorine,
hydrogen chloride, and hydrogen sulfide( not including oxygen and acetylene).
We never cease building on our experience with research and development to constantly improve
our compressor products.
