1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1 GENERAL
This Design philosophy report is intended to provide a basis for Architectural, Civil and

Structural design and design requirements for specific application like machine

foundation, cable and pipe trenches, ramps, culverts and pipe rack. It also includes codes

and standards to be applicable, specific design criteria, primary design loads and

combinations for all buildings/ structures which shall create a Baghjan GGS.

2.0 CODES, STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS

Only latest editions of codes and standards shall be followed with latest amendments.

In case of conflict between codes & standard and job specification, more stringent

requirement/ OIL’s decision shall prevail.
