IMPORTANT NOTICE ON VALIDITY OF ‘CONDITIONAL ACCREDITATION’ AND ‘REVISED

ACCREDITATION STANDARDS GRADING METRICS’ OF TRAINING CENTRES

This is in reference to the notice dated 14th March 2019 on timeline for conversion of “Conditional
Accreditation to Accreditation” and implementation of “Revised Accreditation Standards Grading
Metrics”.

Due to the transition from SMART portal to the new Skill India portal, please note the following
change in timelines:

1. The module for conversion of “Conditional Accreditation to Accreditation” is still under

development in the new Skill India portal and will be released shortly. To accommodate the
delay in going Live with this module, we are extending the time limit for conversion of
‘Conditional Accreditation to Accreditation’ till 15th August 2019 instead of the earlier cut-off
date of July 15th, 2019.

The Job Roles will automatically be marked de-accredited post 15thAugust 2019, if the
Training Centres fails to convert their status from ‘Conditionally Accredited’ to ‘Accredited’.

2. Module for the “Revised Accreditation Standard Grading Metrics” is also under development
and will now go live from 16th August 2019 instead of the earlier go live date of 15th July
2019.The Accreditation standards and Grading metrics of Training Centres will be evaluated
as per the new metrics from 16th August 2019.

3. As a consequence, to the above change in timeline, Training centres that are recommended
for conditional accreditation as per the existing grading metrics till August 15th,2019 will
have the validity only for 02 months to convert to full Accreditation (This is to give same
time relaxation as those TCs that will be awarded provisional Accreditation from August 16th,
2019 as per the revised accreditation grading metrics that provides 02 months relaxation for
TOT certification).

Note: To convert ‘conditional to full accreditation’ please register TOT certified Trainer on Skill India
Portal. For Trainer registration, please click on https://skillindia.nsdcindia.org/direct-registration
and select the user group as “Trainer”. Post registration you will be directed to TOT/TOA module for
addition of TOT certified trainer.
