May I request permission to conduct a SCHOOL LAC on February 4-7, 2020 to be

held at Kalumpang National High School. Participants in this activity are Teachers
from Grade 7 - 12 with an expected number of 39 participants charged to LAC
funds.

The objectives of the said LAC SESSION are the following:

1. Introduce DepEd’s Open Educational Resources (OER) components to
teachers.
2. Create offline interactive exercises using the WQC authoring tool
3. Familiarize with the multimedia key elements and technique in using WQC

OER refers to FREE / and or available educational materials that comes with the
permission for anyone to use, modify, or share. A public domain or have been
released under an OPEN LICENSE that permits NO COST, USE, ADAPTATION and
REDISTRIBUTION by others with no or limited restrictions.

The Digital Rise program under the Public Schools of the Future makes way in
the use of OER. As such, these OER materials is a different pathway to support the
needs for Innovative instruction even without connectivity
