Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

 To have hand-on experience in Installation, Commissioning, Start-up and Operations of

different equipment/units like Dehydration, Amine based Plants, HCDP and Condensate
stabilization units.
 To possess a deep understanding of process technology; assuming the role of site expert
for Plant Operations
 To identify ways and means of optimizing operating & maintenance costs
 To troubleshoot, establish the root causes of process issues and implement effective
corrective and preventive actions
 To assist the Plant Manager in identifying & investigating near-misses, process upsets &
excursions, incidents and accidents
 To maintain a complete details/ record of “lessons learnt” from any mishap
 To contribute in HAZOP processes as technical process expert
 To assist, guide and train new operating personnel
 To prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing information, trends
and recommending actions
 To maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and
regulations.
 To maintain engineering and process document management by writing computer
programs, entering and backing up data.
 To contribute in team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 To perform basic & detail design engineering activities for the assigned project(s) in Oil &
Gas Plants in accordance with the Company established procedures.
 To plan activities, work scheduling, assigning responsibilities to Engineers, Operators
and monitoring to meet the resource optimization.
 To review PFD, P&ID’s, design calculation / analysis and procurement specifications.
 To evaluate vendor’s quotations, technical bids & clarifications, documents, drawings,
specifications & calculations.
 To have ample knowledge of Budget preparation (CAPEX, OPEX).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Others

 Possess skills for designing, Project Management, Process Improvement, Technical

Understanding, Documentation Skills, Safety Management and Supervision.
 Familiarity with process characterization techniques.
 Good working knowledge of statistical analysis tools.
 Ability to perform a multi-task job and adjust priorities as appropriate.
 Possess excellent time management skills to be able to take the initiative to meet deadlines
and the ability to prioritize workload with minimal supervision
 Hands on experience in software such as HYSYS, PIPENET, PIPEPHASE, FLARENET
 Conversant with the Engineering Standards such as API, NFPA, ASME, BS / EN etc.
