INSTALLATION:
This documentation requires two servers:

1. The mandatory Siemens PLM Solr Server which is installed by the

Siemens PLM Documentation Server installer. This server is used
for the search indices.
2. A webserver to host the documentation webapps. These webapps can
either be deployed on an existing web server or they can be
deployed by also installing the Siemens PLM Documentation server.

The installation program for the two servers is contained in the

"splmdocserver035" directory.

The installation program for the documentation content is contained in the

"docs_help" directory.

The Programmer's Reference documentation is available on the customer download

site.

You can either:

Change directory to "splmdocserver035" and run setup.exe.

Once completed, change directory to "docs_help" and run setup.exe.

- OR -

Press the "Install Documentation Server" button on the

DVD Launch screen - Launch.exe program.

When Complete press the "Install Documentation" button on the

DVD Launch screen - Launch.exe program.

If you are installing into an existing webserver, then you should also read
the documentation on Company Wide Server Setup available on the DVD
in the docs directory (also available from the DVD Launch screen under
Installation Information).

Note: The DVD "docs" folder contains a "nxdocs_install_guide.pdf" file

with brief instructions on installing Documentation. This document
is in Portable Document Format and may be viewed or printed with your
browser. The browser must have the Adobe Acrobat plug-in installed.

- Additional helpful information and tips for HTML Documentation. This
file is in HTML format and can be viewed with a browser.

- The Installer for both the Siemens PLM Solr Server and the
Siemens PLM Documentation Server.

docs_help
- The documentation which requires a web server, either the Siemens
PLM Documentation Server or a user provided web server.

docs
- This directory contains the installation documentation.
