Greetings of the day Sir!

It gives me great pleasure to write to you‘ I had learnt about your troupe and its performances,
which impressed me a lot. It is always great to find people with similar passion, as souls share
the same sync. I came to know more about you through Mr.Ajith M. Gopinath, a thick
friend of mine in many aspects of understanding and activities. I would like to bring to your
notice, few things, for the honor of the moment. As we can see, cradle of civilization has
swung a lot, and in the name of modernization man is learning to live today. His learnin g has
come at the cost of many precious things like nature, mythology, tradition, art & culture to a
vital extent. Of many things that have gone down the valley of desires, is a notable
one. In an attempt to revive the lost world, I forged in to the eccentric ways of creating a cult,
by name Ê
½or the past 15 years,
the troupe that I am living in has staged plays in various
genres across the country. We as a team, eye the ways of researching the sands of history in
Tamil drama. Our prime objective is to put forth the significance of culture, art, mythology
and civilization, in our plays to the world audience. We keenly study the tribal and country
side culture which serves as the home turf for a number of rituals that date to ce nturies back.
Through our study, we have developed a style of portraying the culture and tradition that lies
hidden under the human souls, through our plays. The artists in our team are those who have
deep rooted interests in history, drama, and renaissan ce, and we train together - the art of
expressing the . We conceptuate our plays based on the learning and observations from
the fraternity of the traditions and rituals that stand strong yet silent through this modern era.
We arm our plays with musical instruments from tribal and country side origin that vibe souls,
movements that express the mood in mind and self, and a script that speaks the language of
silence. We nurture the primordial practices of human race in our play¶s performances..

Our latest play Ê Ê

‘ ½rom June 2010, it has been staged 7 times at different locations of
the country, where it has received the excited welcome of the audience and enticed attention
of the media too in various forms. It has also been selected to be staged at the

a national drama fest to be held at -c-
     Delhi on
January 11, 2011. We staged r our previous play in January 2009 at the same
venue and received a very good response from the national Audience. The nuances that we
have identified so far are phenomenal and have motivated us to explore further.

I really look forward in performing our play in Kerala soil, s een as God¶s own country and the
land of mythology, art, culture and tradition, serving as a pride of India worldwide till date.
It would be a great opportunity for us to perform, and a wonderful opportunity for the people
to get acquainted to the richnes s of traditions in drama.

Expecting a positive reply from you.

With regards,

Muruga Boopathy,

Manalmagudi.
