My Story...

In 2007 I graduated from college with an Engineering degree and like most of you I was looking
forward to work and have a job. I’m excited to receive my first monthly salary..

What excites me more is that before I leave college I was given a full scholarship from a
company and after graduation I need to work for them as an exchange of the scholarship.

I have a secured job back then so I don’t need to worry about where to go and find a job.

But after 2 years of employment, I was already restless.

I saw the limited income and opportunities from the corporate world. I’m starting to hate
Mondays and every day at work I’m constantly checking time hoping it’s 5pm so I can get out of
my cubicle.

“I’m getting sick of this.” I said to myself.

So I decided to start a side-business hoping this could give me more satisfaction and freedom.

But I was wrong…

While learning to become an entrepreneur I was also busy working and need to do a lot of
things in the office.

I need to look busy because if my boss sees me doing nothing or sees me doing other things
not related to my work, ex. business… I’ll be scolded!

Being an employee needs me to impress my boss that’s why I must stay focus.

And the sad thing is that if your boss or your co-employees know that you are doing side
business you’ll be tagged as candidate to become disloyal to the company.

You can’t serve TWO Masters at the same time

Most motivational speakers say before escaping the corporate world, you can do a side
business

They say while an employee you can run a business - while at work or during your vacant time
at work.

But that’s not true… It’s impossible!

You can only do that unless you are a corrupt employee!

Meaning you use inappropriate time for your side-business, the time that is paid by your
company or your employer.

It is corruption!

So what I do because “hindi ako maka-porma sa opisina”, I do business after work.

After 5 pm I immediately get my pack bag and go home, ride in my motorbike for an hour…

When I got home I felt exhausted and tired already…

Of course I need also to give time for my daughter and my wife!

The result… still lack of time and energy... still no business, no extra income.

Kinabukasan balik na naman sa trabaho hoping to find time in the office to do my business

But still ganun pa rin. It's like me running in the treadmill.

I came to realize that you cannot really focus on 2 or more things at the same time.

If you do business you need to focus it.

If you want to be an employee then focus on how to climb the corporate ladder.

Focus on how to do the corporate politics. Do not cheat on your time. Do not do business while
employed.

And be programmed to follow all the commands of your boss and never argue with it or else…
alam mo na mangyayari sayo!

Bottom-line you need to become a corporate slave to succeed in employment, stay focus
following the orders of your employer.

 Why Employees are called Corporate Slave?

Sino ba ang mga tinaguriang Corporate Slaves?

Sila itong mga empleyado ng isang kumpanya na nakakulong lang sa kanilang cubicle o
workplace at hindi pwedeng umalis sa kanilang pwesto unless they told to do so or their work
needs to be away from their work station.

Ng sinaunang panahon usong-uso ang slavery, yung mga black Americans ay naging slaves ng
mga puting Americano pero ina-bolish ito noong 1865.

Ano ba ang slaves? Ito ay konsepto na may ibang nag mamay-ari either sa pagkatao mo, oras
mo o paghahanapbuhay mo. At binabayaran ka lang either in the form of food or shelter.

At hindi ka pwedeng gumawa ng sarili mong mga action kasi nga nasa may-ari yung lahat ng
authority kung ano lang ang pwede mong gawin.

Kaya tinawag na “Corporate Slaves” ang mga empleyado tulad mo kasi ang konsepto ng
slavery ay tumutugma sayong working environment.

Ang may-ari lang ng kumpanya ang pwedeng magsabi kung kailan at anong oras ka mag-
wowork.

Kahit ayaw mong mag-trabaho kailangan mong pumasok ng office kasi nga ang kompanya ang
may-ari ng oras mo.

Sila lang ang pwedeng magsabi kung anong dapat mong soutin at anong oras ka lang kakain.
At kung may pagkakamali kang magawa sa trabaho ay ipa-punish ka either through
suspension, legal action at pinaka worst termination.

Gaya lang rin ng mga sinaunang slaves pag-nagkakamali sila ay pinaparusahan through torture
or hindi binibigyan ng pagkain.

So whether you like it or not, employment, if you are an employee, is just the present form of the
American slavery.

But even in that case, let's face it, there are still some people who are successful in
employment.

There are some people who become rich after retirement. Pero I doubt the reason bakit sila
naging mayaman sa pagiging empleyado lang. Hmmm?

Because most of those who retired as an employee is poor.

They work so hard all their life for their boss and employer but in the end they are still the same.

No savings, no properties, and family relationships is miserable - they give a lot of their time for
their job and sacrificed the time for their family.

Yung isang Executive Secretary nga namin after retirement nagbebenta nalang ng sandwich. At
yung pagbebenta nya ay para bang nagmamakaawa samin para bumili.

See? Secretary yun ng aming President pero after retirement still begging for money!

I Took The Same Path Too...

I took the same experience also as a corporate slave, I can’t be there for my child when she
needs my presence because I’m a slave.

I can’t watch a movie at 2 pm to relax and break from work. It’s all about my pc and my boss.

Every day before going to office I always hope my boss takes a leave or have a meeting outside
so I can give time to relax and maybe give sometime to attain my business.

But it still doesn’t work!

My business still floating, no movement, no improvement.

But after few more years in service, I found a way out how to escape the corporate world.
I found two strategies how to be free from my boss and free from all the slavery inside the
corporate world.

This strategies are called Ethical Entrepreneurship and Influential Entrepreneurship.

How do this works and how you can apply it so you can safely escape the corporate world?

Let me illustrate it to you on this book so make sure to read up to the end.

Ethical Entrepreneurship

If you are paid by your employer to do a job for 8 hours it is expected you need to do what was
required from you and you should not do activity unrelated to your job description.

Even if you have extra time, you still need to seek other activities that is beneficial to the
company.

So kung isa kang clerk you need to do the paper works and other activity related to your job as
a clerk and you should not do anything unrelated to your work like for example your side-
business.

Or else you are doing what most employees do - They do their side business while at work.

It's totally bad and it's not ethical. It is corruption!

And you'll not be blessed if you are doing that. God will not give blessings to those who are
doing against his will.

Graft and corruption is the number one problem of our government even to private offices and
you should not be one of them.

But there are ways you can become an Entrepreneur without being a corrupt.
That even if you have a full time job you can still do business at work ethically without cheating
the company's time.

How?

Let me show you how I do it.

When I was working, though my profession is in line with engineering, but it was not a doubt that
I really love web programming.

I found a way how I can perform my passion in programming during office hours which is a way
for me to become an entrepreneur without being a cheater and a corrupt employee!

One time when my boss ask me to do a certain job, the output of the job was a daily report of
our daily activities and it must be posted on our bulletin board.

Because it was laborious for me to update it every day, I ask my boss if I can make it
computerise and have it posted in a pc screen so I won't need to update it every now and then.

Luckily he said yes and it was an opportunity I immediately grab and do.

Because of that assignment I can practice programming (even in the office hours) which is the
thing that I love most. I can search or study any computer related programming even if it doesn't
relate to my job description.

It was a job assigned by my boss to me so it's legal.

And that was the start of my Entrepreneurial journey while having a full time job.

That assignment drives me and develops me to become an expert in web programming which is
a skill I need for my future business.

When I become so confident in my web programming skills, I created a website for my online
grocery business which is after I resign I developed it into an online mall website.

One of my running business now is an online mall website called Clavmall. You can visit the

It is not an ordinary online store website because it is composed of a lot of online store owned
by other people.

The main service of Clavmall is to provide an ecommerce website for any business selling
tangible products.
But the most interesting part in this business of mine is that by conducting an online training
how to create an online retail business giving a free website, the website that I develop through
learning programming while employed, I am now helping many business owners to make a lot
of sales by providing an online channel to market their business online.

And I am also helping those who want to have a business by letting them create their own
online retail business using the platform of Clavmall.

To be an Ethical Entrepreneur while employed you need to find a way to become an expert into
something at work. Make it into a business that is a help to other people. Here are 3 tips I want
you to know.

3 Steps To Start Entrepreneurship In Workplace

So here are 3 steps you can apply how to be an Entrepreneur doing ethical things in your day
job.

Step 1. Find opportunity at work that you would love to do

Luckily if you are doing activities that you love while in your day job. For example you are an
Accountant and you love to prepare and examine financial records then focus on it and find
opportunity at work where you can become expert on it.

Later I'll show you how you can make it into business. Just focus on enhancing it now!

Then you can directly go to step 2.

But...

Usually talaga kung ano yung gusto mong gawin yun naman yung wala sa opisina.

There’s a limited opportunity to do your passion at work.

So what you can do is list all the job available in your work place and then rate them according
to your interest.

A great example would be in my own field, Engineering.

The job available could be Project Implementation, Project Planning, or Project Research.

Rate it according to your interest:

1. Project Planning
2. Project Implementation
3. Project Research

Pick the higher one and ask your boss if you can be assign in that field. If not then ask the next
one and so on...

Then if you have already assign to one of it, give a lot of time to focus it. Study, do a lot of
research, and ask your employer if you could enrol to a masters degree in that field.

If not then enrol using your own money! The investment starts there.

But do not close the idea to ask your boss if you could still do an activity that you love or at least
closer to what you love.

For example just what I did, though I love web programming but the opportunity to do the
computerised monitoring of our daily activities doesn't relate to web programming, it is actually
an offline programming which is somehow closer to web programming. (Programmers will
understand this)

Still I do it because it is an opportunity closer to what I love doing and I know that this will be a
good way to start my business ethically at work.

Step 2. Start reading Entrepreneurial books, attend personal motivational seminars.

Once what you are doing in the office is what you love, begin now to change your mind set.

Do not ever go into business without first changing your mindset because there is a right
mindset you need to have to be an entrepreneur and be successful.

Being an employee and being surrounded with co-employees tends you to have a mindset of an
employee.

So in order for you to change it and have the right mindset as an entrepreneur you need to read
books that is written by successful entrepreneur people.

My suggested books are:

1. “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki

2. “Think And Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill
3. “9 Secrets Of The Truly Rich” by Bo Sanchez
4. “The Cautious Entrepreneur” by Jon Orana
5. And some books related to your field of interest. For me “The Innovators” by Walter
Isaacson because I was a computer programmer. Yours will be different!
Take at least one hour a day before you sleep or after you wake up in the morning, whenever
you are comfortable, to read this books.

That is the only way you groom to be like them and become also successful entrepreneur.

Then you can also attend some entrepreneurial seminars or webinars conducted by
motivational speakers.

Webinars however is the new concept in attending seminars now. It is just a seminar conducted
online. You can watch the person in your laptop, pc, tablet or in your mobile giving presentation.
You can also ask questions same as a normal seminar.

You can also attend seminars of Bo Sanchez, follow him on his Facebook account and you can
get free tips from him.

Also one of my highly recommended speaker for personal motivation is John Calub. You can

Warning: Do not read books or watch webinars while at work!

It is still corruption.

Step 3. Create an online training business out of your work

Once you have the right mindset of an entrepreneur and have mastered the job you love doing
at work as in step 1, you can now start monetizing it!

How?

When I mastered my programming skills, developed an ecommerce platform and have the right
mindset needed to make it into business, I created an online training teaching people how to
have an online retail business.

What I do is I created a topic and provide content for it, record it through videos on my pc and
uploaded it in YouTube.

I purchase a password protected website and embed my YouTube videos.

Once someone buys, I only give them the password and they can watch my online training
anytime without me actually presenting them. It is effortless!
That's the good thing about online training business comparing to a live training that you need to
give effort every time you conduct the training.

Then I sold it to highly targeted prospects and boom I already have an online business running
profitably and passively. After a few months I start earning income from it.

I earn an average of 25k pesos a month enough for my living.

Last January 2016, I quitted my job. Heads up while holding my resignation letter and said to my
boss...

"You're fired!"

You're fired into my life. I am not your slave anymore, you have no right to control me starting
now!

Of course there is still fear of the uncertainty. Wala ng monthly salary, no bonus and benefits
but I have the best life ever have starting from that day I submit my resignation letter.

I have freedom. I have a taste of life controlled by no one!

But of course there is a fear but that fear made me to focus my attention in building more online
training business.

Expertise creates Assets

If you have an expertise on something you have developed while employed, you can turn it into
online training and start earning income.

If it is already profitable you can now map an escape plan and start planning goal for your
business.

To make it sure that your business is profitable you need to become an Influential Entrepreneur.

 Influential Entrepreneurship

Have you ever ask when a TV celebrity promotes a certain product, a lot of people will
immediately buy?

For example Michael Jordan promotes Nike, right then millions of people will start to buy Nike
products.

Actually big businesses hires an artist or celebrity to promote what they are selling.

It's because celebrities we see on TV already established an influence.

They are so influential!

Whatever they're promoting or selling it seems that everybody will acted too eagerly to buy it!

And that exactly what you need to build so when you sell something people won't look if your
product is good or not.

They'll just buy because they already know and trusted you because you are so influential to
them.

Now does it mean that you need to become a celebrity?... NO!

You don't need to go to an audition to become a TV star…

You just need to become an Influential Entrepreneur.

The process of becoming an Influential Entrepreneur is to do courting to your customers, give

impact to them and build long lasting relationships to them.

Relationship Gives You Wealth

To build trust you need to build relationship with your soon to be customers.
Just like a man courting a woman, he doesn't need to ask the woman to get married right away.

If he do that surely he will receive a slap on his face.

What he must do is to get to know the girl first.

Create moments with her and slowly develops relationship with her.

When right time comes to ask her to be a girlfriend - he will not be rejected.

Same thing in business, you must be a man who will court a girl (the girl is your customers).

You must be the one who create relationships first which results to having them to trust you.
And when customers trust you, whatever you ask for, it will be granted.

Whatever you sell to them, they will buy!

And when your relationship to them is so strong then that's the time you can make them to buy
again and again.

You don't even need to focus on the marketing side of your business because people will
automatically do it for you through word of mouth because they know you and trusted you.

However if you want to be rich you need to develop influence!

And the best thing about having a firm relationships to your customers, is that, it will provide you
great INFLUENCE to them.

How to Build Influence while Employee?

All you need to do to build influence is to share what you have learned on the books you’ve read
or from training you have joined.

When I become expert with my computer programming what I do is I created a blog.

Every day before I sleep, I read a book for an hour and write in a notebook the things that I’ve
learn from what I read.

During Sundays I write an article for my blog out of the things I write on my notebook for the
whole week.

Aaminin ko... I’m not a good writer and I am not having fun with it.
But I can make my readers get excited to read my blogs.

What I do is I write an article the way I talk in person. Not so much consideration with grammar,
it is as if writing to a friend!

Doing so I attracted a lot of people to read my blog and become my subscribers. Because they
read what I posted, I slowly build influence to them.

They become my fans and regularly read my blog.

Because of that I do have now more than 10,000 subscribers that trusted me. See image below

Whatever good content I'll give to them, they’ll believe. If I offer them a product I sell, it will not
be difficult for them to buy.

You know what because of the influence I build, some of them wants me to be their business
coach. And guess what, I earn extra income from coaching people to build their business!

Influence Can Make You Quit Your Job

Here's the exact thing I do that makes me decide to quit my job. A months before I submitted my
resignation letter to my boss, I wrote a blog and send it to my subscribers.

This blog contains a link to my online training product worth 3,500 pesos. And guess what more
than 80 of them buy it which means I am automatically earned more than 280,000 pesos (actual
is 311,500 pesos).
And that’s exactly how you are going to do it!

While an employee, build relationship first by sharing to them ideas you’ve read on the books or
learned in the trainings and when your subscribers reach a certain number enough to offer them
your products offer them your online training.

It will not be difficult to them to buy it because they already know, trusted and believes in you.
You already built it when you share to them what you've read in books.

So much trust you've built that it will not be hard for them to get their wallet and pay your online
training.

That is how you can earn from internet! That is the sole explanation why a lot of people are now
wealthy in the Information Age.

The more information you have, the more money you'll earn from that information.

If knowledge is power, now, knowledge is also money!

So when they buy your online training, you have now an income ready for your resignation.

And guess what these 10,000 subscribers of mine is already my asset because if I offer them
another products in the future surely I have a buyer. I have now financial security...

And it will not be difficult for them to buy again because they already like me and trusted me.

Just make sure that your product sold to them is in good quality so that their trust and your
influence will continue and grow.
 What’s Your Next Move?
After you know the thing needed to do, so that soon you can quit your job safely and live the life
you want, what's your next move?

Let me take this opportunity to tell you that in order for our country to progress and have
available jobs, it needs Entrepreneurs.

We have a high rate of unemployment because most people thinks that money can be
generated from having a stable job alone.

But they don't realize that there's a big opportunity now, especially in the internet, to earn
income as an Entrepreneur.

There is a huge opportunity to generate profit online, you only need to discover and learn it.

Because once you're into online business, you have a life free from the control of any individual
or any entity.

What's more is that because everything can be automated if you have an online business, you
can be always happy and have a lot of time for yourself and your family.

So as I've mentioned that our country needs opportunity provider.

People who creates opportunities and not just working for the opportunity discovered by
others.

I’m not saying all of employees must be an entrepreneurs because not everyone wants that and
not everyone can do that.

I think majority of people want to be an employee, want to have salary only.

But the fact that you are reading this book means you are one of what our country is looking for.
You are one of the chosen few.

So if you are a person who has a desire to do more than just in the cubicle world then I want
you to do this activity:

1. Identify what activity you are good at work. Example you are having fun doing your
professional work then master and become an expert to it. But if you are doing the things
you don’t like, then do what I did. I look for opportunities how I can perform programming
in the office as an engineer without being a corrupt.
2. Read a lot of books. Books I’ve mention above. Spend at least 1 hour a day.
3. Write what you learn on the book in your notebook everyday.
 4. During your rest day or day off, rearrange what you have written throughout the week
and put it into an article. Post it in your blog or you can post it in your social media
account.
5. Ask and collect the contact information of the audience who read your article, ex. Email,
mobile number. You can learn how to do that just go to Google and search “How email
marketing works”.
