DEVELOPING THE RESEARCH IN YOU

Direction: Consider your field of study in your senior high school now. Dream of
what profession you wanted to become five years from now. How will you apply
quantitative research in your future job? Make a short essay about your plan on
the space provided.

Way to Success
Accountancy, Business and Management is what I am taking as of this moment. There are
so many professions that is under ABM strand that can make my life successful. But, is the course
will make me successful? Will it lead me to a beautiful path of life? There are subjects to take in
order to pass this grade level under ABM strand. Subjects like Business Finance, Fundamentals of
Accountancy, Business and Management, and Business Marketing are the subjects that the
students need to focus on. Also, Quantitative research is a subject that makes every student
nervous and at the same time improve their vocabulary and widen their knowledge. But the thing
is, do you think quantitative research will help you be at your way to success? Five years from
now, from what profession do you think you belong and how do you think quantitative research
be helpful to that profession?

As a student, I have a dream. Imagining ahead of time and thinking what might be those
things that are waiting for me. Looking forward of might be the possible dream that I can achieve
for the next five years and one of these is having my very own shop as a startup of my business.
Being able to promote and stand in front of customers while confidently asking for their advices
and recommendations for the business to upgrade. Being able to connect and communicate very
well to the people who surrounded me and who became loyal in buying my products. Five years
from now, someone will approach me saying how good is the quality of the product I am
introducing. Someone will approach me asking why I became successful and what are the things
that I consider to be at the position wherein I can proudly say I took the right path in order to be
in the way of my success.

5 years later, the strand that I took in senior high school made a huge impact to the
profession I am in right now. It is less difficult for I am not taking any subjects that I did not took
five years ago. I finished all the units that I need to study. I did not take any subject unrelated to
my strand and I focused only to the things that’s most important. Quantitative research also
made an impact for what I am right now. It had a big part in the profession that I am taking today.
In every move, in every decision that I need to let go it requires research. In analyzing customer’s
needs and wants, the population of the place where I build my shop, the interpretation and
statistical measure of data that needed in business field. Research is the first thing that you need
to consider in having and building a business because it plays an important role not only in this
profession, but I believe it is needed in every profession and even in everyone’s everyday life.

Always remember that senior high school is a big part of our life that can change
everything. You should already know what field you belong because if not, it will be difficult for
you to enter college because there are things that you need to consider and units that you need
to take. Right now, today, be sure of what you want because everything might turn around if you
aren’t sure of what path and way you need to take for your success.
