Program Spotlight: Eddie’s Santa Shop

Get into the holiday spirit at the annual Holiday Fun Fest. There will be pictures with
Santa, games, food, crafts, contests and fun for the whole family! The festive holiday
parade begins at 9:00 am and don’t forget to stop by the Blue Star Card booth from
10:00 am – 1:00 pm to enjoy making holiday ornaments! We will also have greeting
cards which may be personalized and sent to a loved one who is away. For more
information on the Holiday Fun Fest event, please call 833-0920/4932.
UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENTS
Don’t be a Scrooge and bring your kids to Tropics from 6:00 – 9:00 pm
on Friday, December 17 to help Eddie the Eagle celebrate the holidays.
Enjoy activities full of holiday cheer for all ages. Free Papa John’s pizza
will be provided and Blue Star Card holders will also receive a free drink
and special treat. This is a family oriented event. To let us know you are

Honolulu City Lights, December 4 – Honolulu Hale Big R: December 14 – Schofield Barracks Arts & Crafts
THE BIG

Join us to enjoy the popular electric light parade, Christmas concert, tree and
wreath displays and a tree lighting ceremony at Honolulu Hale on Saturday,
December 4, from 6:00 – 8:30 pm! Limited transportation will be provided
from Schofield Barracks and Blue Star Card holders can ride for FREE*! For
more information or to register for this program please call 655-0112/3.
Registration deadline is December 1. *To register, a $5 cash deposit is
required for Families of 4 or less, a $10 cash deposit is required for Families
of 5 or more. Your deposit will be refunded on December 4 when you arrive for
transportation.
Walk off the Wait: Spouses in the City, December 7 – Ala Moana
Shopping Center
Join us for a special Spouses in the City edition of Walk off the Wait on Tuesday,
December 7, at Ala Moana Shopping Center! Shop till you drop without the
hassle of parking! Limited transportation is available and will leave from the
Schofield Barracks Bowling Center parking lot at 8:30 am. We will leave Ala
Moana Shopping Center at 1:00 pm. For more information or to reserve your

Schofield Barracks and on December 9 – Palm
Circle, Fort Shafter
Bring your family and begin the holiday season with

Center
Celebrate another month of deployment complete on Tuesday,
December 14, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at the Schofield Barracks
Arts & Crafts Center. Talented Arts & Crafts Staff will be on hand
to help us create fabulous, hand-painted wine glasses! We will
provide the paint, glasses and brushes and you’ll have a custom
designed piece of art that you will be able to take home! Light
pupus and childcare will be provided. Wine will be available for
purchase. Spaces are limited for this event. To let us know you
are coming or to reserve free childcare, please call 655-0002 or
email Sarah.chadwick@us.army.mil by December 3.

 SUPER SATURDAY CHILDCARE
Super Saturday will be held on December 11 from 9 am – 2 pm at Fort Shafter Star Recipe of the Month:
CDC and Fort Shafter Youth Center. To participate in Super Saturday Childcare,
patrons must be Blue Star Card holders. Reservations may be made as early as
30 days prior to the event. For more information on Super Saturday or to make
a reservation, call the Schofield Barracks CYS Services Registration Office at
655-5314 or the AMR Registration Office at 833-5393.

Parents Night Out

Parent’s Night Out will be held December 4 (AMR CDC and AMR Youth Center),
and December 18 (Schofield CDC and Schofield School Age Center). For more
information on Parent’s Night Out or to make a reservation, call the Schofield
Barracks CYS Services Registration Office at 655-5314 or the AMR Registration
Office at 833-5393.
