In this day and age, Social media tends to influence teens to be on their phone a lot which is not
good for them and also can lead to bullying and possibly depression which is something really big to
teenagers these days. These days, teens are starting to use social media more and more but that not the
issue because nowadays even kids are starting to use social media at a very young age. People need to
fix this problem because it’s not okay for anybody to be on their phone constantly. Instead, they need to
spend more time with their family and get away from the phone by spending time outside. It’s a
problem nowadays because kids and teenagers are getting in way too much drama that are created by
social media and it’s just crazy how teenagers can do those things that’s on social media. If this problem
keeps on happening in the world, teenagers are going to live in a world of technology which it’s going to
be very bad for them because overtime, nobody is going to care about each other no more. People
typically care more about the clout or looks on social media than their friends because they would do
anything in order to be popular. There is more problem that’s happening on social media, it shows us
Our goal is to help those who are suffering and needed help from people around them, we need
to check on them often if their energy (the way they communicate with others) is beneficial for the
person and the thing they do is good for them mentally. Social media can lead to depression because

people would often compare themselves to others on social media. This would lead to them changing the
way they act, wear, and even their own persona in order to gain popularity. The targeted age group is
mostly begin in their freshman year, when they’re growing up and they will compare themselves or even
judge each other, especially when they don’t know how to balance their social media life and real life. It
has gotten worse over time when teenagers posted something on social media and it’s becoming a trend
to the youth. It could be very dangerous because sometimes, it might be bad to do that stuff but
teenagers just keep on going because they care too much about their life on social media than them in
real life. If this problem go away, the world is going to change in a way where in which teenagers are
going to hang out more with their friends and their family, there will be more teens that will involve in
more activities outside of their house and after school. In “Social Media and Teenagers.” Social Media
the family screen audit can help you figure out the household rules around screen use and also will make
teens will be involved in more activities and spend more time with their family.
According to Ehmke, Rachel, and Child Mind Institute. “How Using Social Media Affects
teenagers have problems with their life they should talk to someone that can help them with their
problems, It’ll be tough for teenagers to spend less time on social media, and there is good stuff and bad
stuff on it, but they’re also need to do what’s the right thing to do and what not to do and what to
expect when it happens to them. It’s easier for parents to sit down and have a conversation with their
kids and explain to them, so they can understand more about what they are supposed to do. It’ll help
them a lot because they need to know what are the stuff that they can do and can’t do on social media.

Social can be helpful for them to know the news and research something that they want to know, it can
be good and bad at the sometimes teenagers will disagree with their parents because they think that they
don’t understand their life and stuff but there is a lot of inappropriate stuff on social media and also there
is bad influence people for teenagers. It’s important for teens to understand their use of social media.
According to Ehmke, Rachel, and Child Mind Institute, Parents can’t do anything to kids these
days because almost all of them are on their phones 24/7. They should use a family screen audit to help
them to figure out the screen use of their child, so they can set them up for a successful life in their future.
The best thing to do is to make them focus more on their family, limit their screen time and make them
involved in more activities and make more friends and take them outside often. This would help them a
lot because of that they’ll get to see and understand more about the outside world and what’s going
outside of their house rather than stay at home and be on their phone They can’t get on their phone that
much but they’ll have more knowledge about the outside world, they’ll probably make less friends than
before but they’ll gain confidence to talk to people outside of their phone and spend more time with
their family. Even though people come up with a lot of solutions, there will remain unsolved these days
because of that teenagers are starting to use their phones more and more.
Social media leave a big impact on the youth these days, it can cause a lot of trouble for teens
and the parents, so they need to be careful when they’re on social media and stuff. They can talk to
someone that can help them so they’ll learn how to balance social media and real life stuff at the same
time, it’s good for people to talk to each other and are trying to help one and the other to grow and be
the best version of themselves. Talk to them is probably the best method because of that the only best
way is to have a conversation with them and actually get involved with them and help them to improve.
It can limit teenagers’s screen time and will help them to realize that social media is bad for them and
Nguyen 4
forced them some type of way to stay away from it. It’ll help if the parents sit down and actually talk to
them because it’ll affect them more than they thought, because teenagers are going to understand more
about what their parents are talking about. By solving these problems teenagers will make a huge
change to the world, not just in the U.S, teenagers will start to grow up and know what to do, there will
be less drama, and more knowledge for them and they can balance their life and help the environment
go up day by day.
