Assalamualaikum wr wb.

Good morning
The honorable judges and audiences.
My name is....
I am from .......
I would like to show and tell you about ‘Heroism’

What do you have in your mind if you hear the word ‘heroism’?
It might be some heroes who fight for our independence day, right?
But for me, heroism is about someone or some people who want to fight for us, like parents, teachers
and good friends.

My mom and dad are my real heroes. They have fought since I was kid. They sacrifice their life to
bring me up. Can you imagine living alone without them guiding you in life? How can you learn how to
do something properly? How can you understand something is correct or incorrect if nobody shows
you the way?
I remember the moment when I felt down and my parents were there to show me what to do. That’s
amazing.

The second hero for me is teachers. Since the first time we start the school, the teachers will always
guide and show us many things, many knowledges, many rules, many lessons. They never get tired
to teach everything we don’t understand. They also sacrifice their time to create better students, from
lazy to dilligent, from stupid to smart, from uneducated to educated. I know they often get upset with
our attitude but they still love us and never leave us in wrong way. They are the real hero.

The third is good friends.

You may hear a proverb says a good friend in need is a good friend indeed. It means that if you have
friends that always stay by your side when you are in good or bad situation, that’s the real friends, the
real heroes. Why? Because they will also fight for us, support us, and be there in pain and joy.

So if you ask me what heroism is, my answers would be simple; my parents, my teachers and my
friends. Lets appreciate what they have done for us, lets value what they teach in our life, lets love
them as big as their love to us.

That would be the end of my show and tell. Thank you very much for your nice attention,

There are so many definitions of hero. But for me, a hero is someone who is willing to sacrifice for
others. One of them is georges bwelle.

In Cameroon, there is only one doctor for every 5,000 people, according to the World Health
Organization. The only problem they have there is poverty.
He then became a doctor himself, working as a vascular surgeon in Yaounde's Central Hospital.
He also started to travel into rural areas on weekends to provide free medical care. Since 2008, he
and his group of volunteers have helped nearly 32,000 people.

Almost every Friday, he and up to 30 people jam into vans, tie medical supplies to the roofs and
travel across rough terrain to visit villages in need. Their luck, however, doesn't always hold out.
They've had to push vehicles through rivers and mud more than once. But when they arrive, they
receive a true hero welcome: a feast, singing and dancing, and the best accommodations the
community can offer.

In these villages, free medical care is truly cause for celebration, and Bwelle with his big smile and
boundless energy is more than happy to join in the fun. The next morning, the team begins meeting
with hundreds of patients.

"We are receiving 500 people in each trip," Bwelle said. "They are coming from 60 kilometers (37
miles) around the village, and they're coming on foot."

Each of these weekend clinics provides a variety of medical care. Many people are treated for
malaria, tuberculosis, malnutrition, diabetes, parasites and sexually transmitted diseases.
the team will do simple surgeries with local anesthesia. Operations are usually done in a
schoolhouse, town hall or home; after the procedure, patients get up and walk to the recovery area.

On Sunday, the team heads back to the city, tired but proud of their work. The group, a mix of
Cameroonian doctors and foreign medical students has performed 700 free surgeries in the past
year, and they know that their help can make a world of difference to those they help.
Bwelle is a real hero, without any doubt. He gives his life to this organization, and his desire to help
the Cameroon people is everlasting. Helping others live happier is something that brings him great
joy.

There are so many heroes in the world such as albert einstein, nelson mandela, margaret thatcher
and many more. Indonesia also has so many heroes who have fought for our independence day.
They are jendral sudirman, cut nyak dhien, RA kartini, tuanku imam bonjol and others. But my
favourite hero would be BJ Habibie.

Do you know him?

People might be familiar with BJ Habibie easily since the movie of Habibie Ainun was booming some
years ago. What makes bj habibie being the hero is not about the movie, but more about his
contribution for our lovely country, Indonesia.

Bj Habibie was born on June 25, 1936 in pare pare, south sulawesi. As a child Habibie liked
swimming, reading, singing, riding his father's racehorses, and building model airplanes. His hobby of
building model airplanes brought him to be an indonesian engineer who was then to be president of
Indonesia from 1998-1999.

What I admire about him is his intellectuality. He developed theories on thermodynamics,

construction, and aerodynamics known as the Habibie Factor, Habibie Theorem, and Habibie
Method, respectively. They made Habibie receiving several honorary degrees for his contributions in
the fields of technology and science. The degrees made Indonesia be respected by other countries.

So lets imagine, this is an aeroplane with so many details in it. What I learn about aeroplane is just
the engine, landing gears, and wings. But BJ habibie understands all aspects of this. He is even
mentioned as mr crack because his invention of finding the fact about aeroplane’s crack body. That is
such a big contribution he has ever made. We are now free to travel through the air wherever we
want with this plane because of the contribution.

Isn’t it amazing facts of a real hero? Someone who contributes his life and knowledge for the benefit
of others. He motivates a lot of people with the quote “failure happens when we give up”

Hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble
qualities. I’m sending my highest respect to him.
