Children fashion clothing is on a rise today, children are dressing like adults and thus fashion apparel is
becoming more focused on setting on creating apparel that appeals to large target audience. However, in
the age of 2-12 basic clothing for children does not exist in the market. The clothes available all are
fashion items and have some kind of artwork or logo present. Yet basic items such as gray sweater, black
jeans etc (minimalistic in nature) that can be paired up easily are not present.
Brands are present such as Minnie minor, Pepperland, outfitter, breakout however they lack the basic
everyday clothing that a child need. For that people buy basic products from Next however they have
higher prices that are not affordable to most of the consumers. Minnie Minor does sell a little range
basic items however it is very few in range and colors. Due to this one can say that very few actual
competitors exist in the market that provide apparel line for kids.
5. How your propose project will resolve the existing problem/ fulfil the market
gap?
Fill the gap of basic kids wear that lacks in the market today, due to having very less competitors
and a lot of need among parents with children in the age group of 2-12 years that are looking for
good quality yet basic apparel that can be worn in various styles and does not have any artwork
on it.
