Vision

The Aurora State College of Technology , a center of Excellence in instruction , Research , Extension and Production in Asia.

Mission

Develop Aurora State College of Technology as:

 A top ranking higher education in the sciences, arts, teacher education, agriculture , entrepreneurship, engineering and Technolgy.
 A fulcrum of interdisciplinary scientific , applied and development-oriented researches that leads to technological inventions and people-oriented programs that addresses
poverty alleviation in host and partner communities
 An extension training opportunities provider supporting entrepreneurial production programs that deliver socio-cultural empowerment and improve the quality of life of the
people it serves.
 An institution that upholds good governance and provides equal advancement opportunities for the people of Aurora neighboring provinces.

Department Goal:
 To deliver relevant and quality education through programs that promote the College one of the recognized educational institution in Asia.

Department Goals Objectives:


 To promote continuous faculty improvement in instruction and research through verticalized higher education and aligned course assignment,
 To deliver quality education through updated and improved general education programs,
 To organize and participate in department extension programs that will support and empower the community,
 To create gender-sensitive and gender-responsive classroom , department , and office environment ,
 To produce instructional and other multimedia materials for academic use and community-based programs ,
 To develop a department research program that will aid in improving the research skills of its faculty,
 To develop researches that are aligned with the field of specialization of each faculty that can be integrated into community-based programs and materials production, and
 To encourage collaborative researches with other departments/agencies to create innovative strategies and develop products and services

COURSE TITLE Individual and Dual Sports

COURSE DESCRIPTION This subject deals with the individual and dual games such as athletics, badminton, and table tennis. It also includes the facilities and equipment,
the basic skill mechanics and rules of the different sports.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES At the end of the course, the students will be able to:
1. Learn the history, rules, strategies and the players of athletics, badminton and table tennis.
2. Develop the fundamental skills through participation, and
3. Develop desirable, social attitudes among students towards the game.
4. Demonstrate leadership in performing the different games
