Pre-Lesson Self-introduction game 21st Century Learning skills:


• Pupils could sit in a circle and take turn to throw a soft ball or Collaborative
piece of crumpled paper to each other to ask for and give their
name: “Hi! My name is…”

Lesson Introduce the vocabulary


Development • Teacher introduces the countries using the flag flashcards.
• Pupils listen and reproduce the name of the countries. [C.S.

Listen to the song


• Teacher tells the pupils that they are going to listen to a song. i-THiNK Map:
• Play the song once. While listening to the song, pupils point to Bridge map
the flags of the countries mentioned.
• Play the song a second time. Pupils write the names of the Formative Assessment:
children as mentioned in the song. Pause after each name is Peer assessment

• Play the song again for pupils to check their peers’ answers.
